Quoted from pdxpinball:

I looked at this machine about a month ago when he called me to do a service call on it.The voltages on the display are all correct,so it's most likely not a power supply issue. We tried 2 other DMD displays(one new) and neither on worked. The game is in real decent condition, and if given some love, would probably be fantastic,,,but does need Lots o' love.

I bought this machine. My tech put in an old dmd from my CftBL, resoldered the large caps on power supply (probably what u missed), resoldered a couple optos, and game plays great. its in beautiful shape. Happy to have a nice example of this machine.

Bought the OCD LED board. Really brightens things up and keeps the fade in/out. Really dig it

Nobody else has the coin glued in their game?
Really thought I'd stumbled onto something there....

I don't. Prob a previous owner had a loose, rattling glass. That tightened things up.

Quoted from sgorsuch:

I am still debating if I should just leave the game as is with incandescent lamps- it really looks good the way it is. There is something very subtle about the fade in and out on the incandescents.I have heard of the LED OCD boards that emulate this effect, but i have not seen one to form an opinion yet.

The LED OCD board is good product. Retains the dimming effect nicely..and is adjustable. Really brightens up the machine. PM looks like half the lights are out when in a group of modern machines without it, IMO.

But aren’t the Capcom flippers superior?

A proper working set, yes.
