Please take this as a friendly note and not me trying to sell boards through scarcity; I do not plan to restock the Capcom boards for a while after they sell out. They are not in high demand, they are expensive to have sitting on shelves, and I just plain need a break. There are 2 left now, and when they sell, it will probably be at least a few months before I think about having more made.

Quoted from TheLaw:

the OCD works pretty well although it takes awHile to tweek it, and it aint exactly cheap

I'll agree that it isn't cheap. I'd like to able to lower the price and make them more accessible. Unfortunately, part of that comes from the fact that there just aren't many Capcom machines out there. That means there's not much demand for the boards.

I had 25 Capcom LED OCD boards built over a year ago. Having 50 built, they would have been a good bit less expensive, but even at 25, I still have 5 left. They are likely the last 5 since I don't want to invest in another build that will sit on the shelves. It sucks, but that's how it goes in a niche market.

Quoted from PinballManiac40:

I think you need more heavy advertising.

I'm actually content with things where they are now. The time I spend to test incoming boards, packaging kits, processing orders, and providing support is as much as I want to deal with. I would rather have time to play my games, spend time with my family, and enjoy other hobbies than more orders.

I realize my comment about the Capcom boards came across a little whiny, but it's really more of a matter of there not being a big enough market for them. I don't want to push kits on people who don't want them. I just wanted a solution for my games, then found that other people could use them as well.

It could be a bit more clear, but you can definitely tell from this picture that there is no blu/brn wire at pin 1 of the closer connector.

Quoted from guss:

They sold fast or the page had it marked wrong. No page now.

No, they don't sell nearly that fast. I'm guessing you may have clicked on the link within a quote. Pinside messes up the links within quotes by replacing ampersands.
