    Quoted from DennisDodel:

Any estimates for when the next issue will appear?

Hi Dennis, the current plan is to aim for March 2020, prior to TPF and MGC (and attend both shows as well), but music production and promotion (what I also do, see the upcoming Pinball Magazine Newsletter as well) is taking up a lot of time at the moment.

    #23 1 year ago

Well I’m already looking forward to it.

As mentioned weeks ago in our podcast, Martin Ayub (editor of Pinball News) and I (editor of Pinball Magazine) were promised an exclusive interview with Barry of Dutch Pinball. As Barry had to take care of other things first, it took a while. Last night we finally got a chance to talk to Barry, which resulted in a 2-hour special bonus podcast. http://www.podcastgarden.com/episode/special-bonus-podcast-dutch-pinball-past-present-and-future_148459
We discussed the past of Dutch Pinball, the recent court case, his plans for building TBL games and more. Will it answer all your questions? Probably not. Was it the interrogation that some would like to see? No. However, it may give you new insights on the matter. Enjoy!

gary stern interview podcast image part 1 (resized).jpg
As Gary Stern, President of Stern Pinball, celebrates his 75th birthday, Martin Ayub of Pinball News and Jonathan Joosten of Pinball Magazine send our congratulations to him, and mark this milestone with a landmark interview looking back at his entire life in the pinball business.

From growing up in the coin-op trade, to his first days working at a Williams, buying Chicago Coin, starting Stern Electronics, then founding Data East Pinball, the transition to Sega Pinball and forming Stern Pinball, we examine the trends, the markets, the games and the people with whom Gary worked during his lifetime in pinball, like never before.

Our interview is so extensive it lasted over two-and-a-half hours, so we have split it into Part One and Part Two.

Part One, which covers the very latest news from the Stern Pinball factory before looking at the earlier years of his career, is available now by clicking the link below.

    http://www.podcastgarden.com/episode/gary-stern-75th-birthday-interview-part-1_156807

Part Two, which takes us through more recent times and looks at how the pinball business has developed over the decades, will be released over the coming weekend. So, check back to catch that and get an insight like no other into where pinball is now and how it got there.

    #34 11 months ago

Best interview everr! That was a great part 1 and look forward to part 2. Any chance you can follow up with Gary while he is in a generous mood and request he provide production numbers for all Sterns through 2018? This info is of historical importance.

Also, does Multimorphic count as "and more"? We did some really cool things in June, including some more industry-firsts!

Thanks for posting this. As we do an episode each month, we don't do seasons. I guess I should add a season number. I suppose we're now in season 3?
