Quoted from waltrr:

I wish I never sold my Big Bang Bar.
Also learned a lesson as to what not to ever do again.
I needed some quick money and sold it to someone close to home with the promise I can play it and also buy it back in the future when he was ready to sell it. I also sold it to him at a great price just because of our deal. While we were working out the details, and what I didn't know, he was making a side deal to sell it to someone else across the continent for a big pay day.
A few days later I was reading RGP and saw a post stating "BBB#12 in the house" The post also stated the new owner was looking to buy a BBB manual that I did give with the game. Then I saw the my manual and my spare parts sell on e-bay for quite a few bucks. The seller, or buyer for me, wouldn't return my calls.
Live and learn as they say.

People suck.

That sucks. But back deals are tough, they usually only work with very close friends.

I have had some really good experiences so far on both buying and selling pins on Pinside.

I think you can cull out the D bags for the most part.

I would like to retract my post #32 and say none. That TZ I sold was for far above value at the time funded another project TZ and an TAF.
I visited my first game last week, the TZ and she still is soo sweet.
I'm glad the friend I sold it to enjoys it and is looking to expand his colection of two.
His other is a safe cracker that is very nice.

Here's a pic of my first sitting next to a nice safe cracker. The tears of joy.

An absolutely beautiful Dracula and Creature a number of years ago.

Sold my Tommy and missed it. Pinsound came out with fresh re-orchestrations so bought it back for basically same money a few years later. Now it is a keeper.

The pin I found myself missing the most was my heavily modded out XM Pro. I since replaced it with a modded out XM LE. It was cool because the LE was the game I love with some added features so it was kinda new to me as well.

The biggest regret I ever had with a pin was Baywatch believe it or not. Even after having some real classics, BW was the one I had to go back after and get - not going anywhere now.

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!

Id say iron man ...sold only to buy again. Demo man and sttng I sold then re bought only to sell again...they are still gone. IM is a keeper for me.

After watching “Wednesday” on Netflix , I have to say AF . I’ve missed it before , but this puts a stamp on it .
Hopefully I will have another one some day .

I’d still say LOTRLE 6 yrs later.

That’s my first NIB . I visited PB.COM , and once I played it , it was a deal , even tho I never watched the movie .. I’ll put that on my regret list too

Unpopular opinion alert: Rollergames! I swear, that game was a blast to shoot, had all the cheese you could want, and the less annoying sound ROMs really were a great piece of variety in the game room.

FK popular opinion … it’s us playing the game and having the enjoyment

I think back to the games I sold and don't miss any of them bad enough to want another one. I did enjoy anything I later sold while I had it, even the BTTF which is a semi-clunker to play but is nice looking with a great theme. I toy with the idea of moving WH2O on occasion but I know I'd soon regret that one leaving.
