I have had a hot tub since 1998. At first there were times when it was damn, the sun is coming up.

It has helped a lot when I have had back problems.

It stays ready to use, but I have not been in it in months. No way I would want to get rid of it though.

All the pumps have been replaced a time or 2, and one new cover. The old cover still looked good, it just got too heavy to move.

Honestly, if I did not have pins, I would probably still get in the hot tub almost every night. A big thing also is my girlfriend loves pins, and does not care about the hot tub. Previous girlfriends loved the hot tub so that was where we stayed a lot.

I voted hot tub because some times in my case it is needed or I would hurt too bad to play pinball or do anything else.

I never had a girlfriend take off her clothes to play pinball, but they all have gotten naked to get in the jacuzzi.

    Quoted from Hogey:

They have since gone out of business.

I can not remember what my actual brand is, but the 800 # on the manual goes to Living The Spa Life, and since 1998 when I bought the hot tub ordering has been super easy with my serial #.

    Quoted from Hogey:

$500 if I want to come pick one up

I think the last pump I ordered was 265 with shipping from FL.

Like I have said here before, my hot tub stays ready but barely gets used anymore because my girlfriend going on 4 years now loves pinball and does not care much for the hot tub.

Now if she were to go out of town to visit her Mom, my ass is in the hot tub. And the next time I have back pain in it anyway, it really does help when your back is messed up.

    Quoted from Jackontherocks:

you can think of pins you want in the future while resting in the steam.

    That's what I do!

    Quoted from Nickson:

i have a hot tub and i barely use it

I don't use mine much anymore, but like last night when my back was killing me I was glad I could get in it for a while.

For about 5 years in a row long ago I set up a tv at the jacuzzi, and rigged a table over part of it, and had pizza and beer while watching the Super Bowl.

I only stopped doing that when I quit paying for the cable box at the jacuzzi. And now it is a pain in the ass to take a cable box out of here, hook it up out there, then bring back and hook up again.

And I could barely hear the tv over the jets anyway.

I am glad I have a jacuzzi even though not used much anymore. When my back is hurting it is awesome.

I think a hot tub can save you money when it is cold outside.

I was just in mine for a hour, and in the house now and I am still hot and will not need the furnace to run for a long time.

The worst thing about a hot tub for me is it feels so good it is hard to get out.

To make myself get out in a certain amount of time I carry however much beer to it as I plan to sit in it.

So if going to be in a long time, taking a cooler full. Short time just 2, so after 2 I am damn, I do not want to get out, but I am ready for another beer.

And it all depends on who you are with. My girlfriend is not here tonight, and will be gone with her Mom a few days so I will be in the jacuzzi a lot.

When my girlfriend is here she loves pinball and arcade games and cares less for the jacuzzi so unless my back is hurting bad I stay indoors and play games with her.

Kind of like my boat rarely gets used anymore because my girlfriend does not care much about fishing.

The girlfriend before her loved the jacuzzi and fishing and we were always doing one or the other a lot.

But no matter what, if I am having some pain, I am in the jacuzzi for a while.

And been a while, but having some pain, and damn that jacuzzi was just so awesome. Like 10 minutes a month average to keep it in good shape, and it is ready when needed.

As far as the original subject, hot tub first, so you can relax and think about what pin you really want.
