The goal is to make silicone rubber play as close to traditional rubber as possible, even improve on it a little if possible. However, I understand that any variance in play compared to traditional rubber can be interpreted in a positive or negative way, so we have to be careful there.
The big advantages of silicone rubber are brighter, more vibrant colors and more durability. If we can also make them play better than traditional rubber then great; bonus!
