Once again, I can't thank Terry and Margaret enough for donating the proceeds to JDRF and finding a cure for diabetes, or at least making a diabetics life more normal. The pic below is of my grandson, Gordon, taken at last year's JDRF One Walk, which is their biggest fundraiser. The money Terry donates goes to JDRF on behalf of Team G. Primarily because of Pinball Life's and Spooky Pinball's donations last year, Team G was in the top 10 of all Teams with a little better than $10,000 raised!

THANK YOU to Terry and Margaret Dezwarte and Charlie and Kayte Emery for everything you do!

Here's the link to Team G's donation page, for anyone that would like to help out.

The pic is Gordon and my son, Justin about 4 years ago. Gordon was 15 months old and had been admitted to the emergency room with blood sugar numbers around 650. For comparison, they should have been closer to 100.

    Are the last 6 gone?

    It appears so.

    Quoted from epthegeek:

Mental note: next year, buy all the tickets on day one and scalp the crap out of them.

Terry said a few ended up on Stubhub last year.

    Quoted from epthegeek:

Who says I wouldn't turn all the extra cash earned over to the charity? Huh? who?

I have no issue with that at all. In fact, I may have one extra ticket. I'll know more in a day or two whether my buddy can make it or not.

If I were to sell it, the proceeds will definitely go to JDRF.

    Quoted from Pinzap:

Also looking for tickets (up to 4), but realize they will be difficult to find. Willing to donate again to JDRF over and above ticket price if anyone can come through.

You've done enough for JDRF already, Tony. You can have my one extra if I end up not needing it.

    Quoted from Yelobird:

In the mail. Have a great time!

WTF! Just sent Pinzap a PM. Have I bought one upped?

    #63 5 years ago
    Quoted from Pinzap:

Sorry for the confusion Bryan... I was looking for 4 (to bring my sons)... was thinking little chance of that happening, but I have 3 confirmed so far with yours and yelobird and a fourth is pending.
You guys are awesome, and will up my JDRF donation as promised. I truly believe in the good things this charity is doing. Oh yeah, and the PBL party isn’t bad either!!

Sorry, man. I should have added a smiley face. Stupid post on my part. The ticket from me is on the house. As I said, you've done enough already.

You can't even spell my name right, asshole!

It appears Spooky Pinball has a donation bucket at the open house. If you’re there on Friday, please consider giving what you would have spent on food and beer otherwise!

My grandson Gordon and others like him thank you!!

It’s been a long day at the Pinball Life party but my wife and I had a great time, as always. I can’t thank Terry and Margaret enough for what they do for JDRF. Thanks to them, $3000 has been donated. Also, thanks to Charlie and Kayte and their donation buckets, another $504 was raised. The cookie, pie and cool cups were gifts for my wife because she has to put up with me.

    Quoted from yancy:

Never would have guessed Doug is a top and Jay is a bottom.

I've never looked at either one of them that way, but there it is!
