Thanks Guys. After the grand baby lost the Whirlwind key I decided to go this route. It looks like the bulk order option isint available any longer (I got a dozen for 9 bucks) but here is the link to the key chain I used. The dimensions are 2" x 1-3/8"

Thats awesome idea. I need to do that to all my pins since none of them came with the original ones.
Quoted from tomdotcom:I used a fishhook for my Fishtales key
Don't leave that baby still in the door while you pelvic thrust outlane nudge-save the machine!
Ouch!
Nice score on that Radical fingerboard FM!!!
If and when I get a Radical, I have a Vision Psycho Stick fingerboard just waiting to dangle off that keyring!

Thanks! Made it from a Tech Deck toy I got at Kmart for like $3.50. It was a John Lucero retro one, I almost want to take off the sticker I made for it, my brother used to ride that deck back in the day and I sported it after he thrashed it. That Vision fingerboard brings back memories, I went through a few pairs of those shoes.
I don't think they ever made a factory key chain for Radical did they?
I was going to say!
"Did they ever make a Radical keychain like that?!?"
Too funny...
I had the purple edition of JL's Madrid board as well as a Claus Grabke SC that I rode into the ground.

I really miss those days.
Now when I skate, it hurts... A LOT!
Also, my Ollies could really use some Viagra...
Very nice. I just got one off fleabay for rbion. Cost 15 bucks and it is tiny. I thought it would be the size of my jp keychain.
How many people have spares from old games or just random ones you found in games?
All of the key chains that I have had in the past go along with the pin when its sold. I thought about keeping them around, "just in case" but I horde enough pinball crap already.
Radical is an awesome game, I was about 100bucks from winning one off of ebay, but I cheaped out. My Skateball will have to do for now, but I'd love to add Radical to the lineup someday too...
Quoted from SealClubber:We need a Skate Visions pinball with some Agent Orange in the background. There's no such thing.
Or at least a THRASHER pin...

I guess we can always repurpose a Radical and also throw in a separate speaker hooked to an iPod set to play skate/thrash music.
I always wondered why Tony Hawk never made a pinball machine during those "Pro Skater" gaming years...
It could of been a ramptastic funfest, with decent pinball music!
ssathre,I like the keychains,I can get the holders locally,I was more interested about the graphics in your key chains, where are the graphics from, how to size the graphics, did you just use printer paper for now?
Thanks for posting, and any info. about the graphics will be appreciated.

I pulled the graphics off the web. I just did a google search for each pin... I.e. whirlwind pinball logo and then selected the images option. for taxi I searched for taxi pinball cabinet art. I assembled the images in adobe Photoshop... I sized a new blank image the same size as the keychain and copied the downloaded art into that. I printed each image out twice on photo paper and cut them out, put them in the key chain back to back and, viola!
shoot me a PM if you need any assistance, I'm always happy to help a fellow pinsider.
In my experience, you can often find a perfectly suited keychain if you are willing to look for ones that aren't specifically designed for the pin. This is obviously easiest to do when the game is based on a popular license or theme. Here are a couple of examples from my collection ...

I'm down for one of those. Although licensing music maybe a big issue, but I think Stern or JJP could pull it off.

There's a guy at KLOV that makes very nice flyer keychains for $2.00 each.
I had him do keychains for my pins and he does nice work. Check it out.
Quoted from LITZ:Jon makes awesome key chains for $2 ea using graphics from the game flyer
Is John still making these? Does anyone have an email address for him? That page is down, I hope he still does these. I need me some keychains!
Quoted from ssathre:I got tired of not having keychains for a few of my pins... and was even more tired of paying the ridiculous prices wanted for the keychains you can actually find. So I got a little resourceful and made my own.

I got this:
Hey man-
No problem- I'll put you on the list. I have about 30 orders before yours, but once I get to you- I'll send the art for approval.
That was from Jon, so he still doing it for $2.50 per I think. I ordered two each for 8 machines.

I went to order 20 of them and it was going to charge me $9 in shipping...decided it was not worth it.
I like the ones that look like mini-flyers.. They were on Ebay for a while but got yanked for copyright infringement

I was listening to one of the pinball podcasts recently, and they were advocating the use of keyless locks. It sounded like a pretty good idea to me, and I like that they still have a hole that allows you to hang a keychain from them if you want:
