Quoted from Pablito350:

Nothing But Trouble was Dan Aykroyd's only movie that he directed, but boy was it a doozie! I spotted this in a short documentary on youtube. I don't know if it is actually visible in the movie. I'm sure there are more pins in that huge pile!
It's incredible the effort the designers put into this movie. Sounds like they had a blast. Interesting video. I'll link it below.
I don't know what machine it is, I'll need your help!

Cabinet is definitely Gottlieb El Dorado. The head? I'm not sure. Either the wedge head colors are washed out or it's a different head alltogether.

Quoted from mooch:

I think it’s a 1961 Gottlieb “Flying Circus”
[quoted image]

Could be, but there are a few things that don't seem to match up when I darken, then blur the image so that it matches with the vid.. may also be the angle, etc. I've obsessed a bit myself about finding that one. Also brushed up on Keith Emerson - what a virtuoso he was!!

Quoted from girloveswaffles:

Okay, so I took a turn at trying to clear up the picture. The "4" may not be what it looks like. There appears to be something very dark on the back glass near the center. I'd almost say Gaffers Tape. It's much darker than anything else on the artwork what ever it is. But the game does look like it's a four player Gottlieb or something similar.

At first, I was hoping it would be the ELP logo that you had uncovered, but it doesn't match, e.g. a guy that played the piano/organ with knives could have indeed modified a backglass with black tape. The whole cabinet could also have been repainted with some glossy piano paint, Keith Emerson was living in a Tudor era house after all..! It could be that Flying Circus, fits the shape and is looking more and more like a Gottlieb, but rethemed to better fit the decor?

I searched the auction pages from the Keith Emerson Estate, but I could not find any reference to a pinball. It would have been an old game by the time of his death, probably changed hands before. No reference to a pinball anywhere, nor from the point when the house was sold.

I'm contacting [email protected] unless someone has done it already or if anyone has better info?

Quoted from mooch:

Emerson’s game on the left- compare to blurred image of a Flying Circus on the right
[quoted image]

Great job! Just couldn't blur it the right way. So Emerson's game was probably painted piano black to match with the decor when turned off. Lol, I'm glad this is settled! I actually wrote to a bunch of folks, including Mari Kawaguchi (his last wife). I like when a good mistery is resolved!
