Wow! I hadn't noticed the pins in Animal House before. Looks like there are four machines. The first is obscured (by three guys apparently playing cards on it?!), but the others are King Of Diamonds (1967), 4 Star (1958) and Three Deuces (1955). Oops... they have a 1967 machine, but it's supposed to be 1962 in the movie.

From the “Emerson, Lake & Palmer - World Tour 1973” documentary.
Screen shot of Keith Emerson at a piano in the barn building rec room of his Stonehill house in East Sussex, England.
What pin is in there? I can’t identify it.

Could it be a Pat Hand? (Wiliams, 1975)

No, the timeline of the film suggests the scene was from around March 1973.

It’s neither of these. I guess that machine’s identity will remain an Endless Enigma.

All this talk of keyposts and indexes when I'm haunted by that damn "No, It's not PAT HAND" image from a near 50 year old ELP documentary.

I think it’s a 1961 Gottlieb “Flying Circus”

Expanding on old Posts #1052 and #1068, here are more pics of the pins in the Animal House movie pledges scene.

There is a row of 4 pins on the left wall behind the pledge guys. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th pins are a 1967 Gottlieb “King Of Diamonds,” a 1958 Williams “4 Star” and a 1955 Williams “Three Deuces.”

The first pin in the row is mostly obscured by some guys playing cards on it. The small bit of visible cabinet art resembles that of a 1973 Bally “Monte Carlo.”

That Solid Gold clip reminded me of this one. Not a movie, but a music video.
A 1979 Bally Kiss game shows up about a minute into this video for the 1980 classic song “Eugene.”
