It has bugged me forever trying to identify this, but I remember when I was little seeing Space Mission/Odyssey in a bar scene in either 'All in the Family' or maybe 'Archie Bunker's Place'. We had one growing up, so I immediately recognized the cabinet art (I believe it was in the foreground facing out towards Caroll O'Connor). I'd love to figure out exactly what show/episode that was ..

Quoted from ImNotNorm:

Maybe this post will help ^

I had a feeling it would be in here somewhere, but for some reason searching didn't turn up your post. Did you create that list by watching all the episodes? I.e. Do you think it's definitive or could there be more? Now I'm tempted to do it to see where I saw Space Mission/Odyssey. Could have been the spinoff show too .. I don't really remember much other than seeing it and saying "Hey!"

Don't see these posted yet from searching - this Gottlieb Central Park and Queen of Diamonds pair has been in two episodes so far that I've watched of Rod Serling's Night Gallery (episodes - 'They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar' and 'Make Me Laugh')

Here is visual proof for The Rundown (2003 starring The Rock). These are the best shots, and definitely going to need help with ID.

Saw this one tonight in Tales from the Loop (S1E4 - Echo Sphere) - Chicago Coin Bullseye Baseball

Quoted from Gemini:

There's a particular second-season episode of Star Trek TOS called "A Piece of the Action" where Kirk and co. are being held captive in the storeroom on a planet run by gangsters and they have a variety of pinball machines in there in various states of disrepair... but I have no idea which pins they are. Most of them seem to be identical save for one. Here's a couple screencaps:
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
Anyone have any idea which pins these are?

Old post, but I just noticed these and saw that they weren’t ID’d yet:
Majors - 1941 (Chicago Coin 1941) - there are three of these in the room
Twenty Grand (Williams 1952)

I wonder if that SUPER JACKPOT game by the door is real or not.

PS - We actually have two Star Trek keyposts for this same episode/scene. Can we get the extra one removed?

PPS - It’s more work but it would be neat to have some way to tag games as needing an ID. With all this time at home it’s fun to hunt these down.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Left that Star Trek Voyager alone for now.

Actually this is for Star Trek (the original series). Posts 209 and 841 are both about the exact same episode/scene (S2E17).

While I'm at it, I notice the Twin Peaks entry has question marks for the season/episode. The shots are from S2E9 (Arbitrary Law) and S2E19 (Variations on Relations). I suspect those games show up in bunch more episodes since that's a frequent location in the show.

Started rewatching The Fugitive tonight, handful of games show up in the bus station in the very first episode (S01E01 - Fear in a Desert City). Not a lot of clues besides the sideart and one being a baseball game .. time to start the pot of coffee

Edit - The baseball game looks like Williams Deluxe Official Baseball (quick to find due to that odd slanted head and sideart). Gottlieb Gaucho on the end of the opposite row. Gottlieb Miss Annabelle in the foreground of the second screenshot.

Quoted from PinMonk:

These are great pictures, better than the one already in the index for this episode.

Doh, for some reason my eyes only saw the first Fugitive index post. I guess it's not all for nothing with better screenshots and the visible games ID'd now.

PS - I got on a tangent reading about those photo booths - Photo-Me model 14 circa 1960

Quoted from Mopar:

A 1950s Chicago Coin Shuffle Bowler in a 1963 "The Fugitive" episode..
The bowler has 6" pins. An early 50s..[quoted image][quoted image]

Here's another screenshot of this one. I love when they get so close you can just read the name right off the glass! Chicago Coin Match Bowler

PS - PinMonk - If you want to update the index post for this one, it's S01E03 (The Other Side of the Mountain). That makes two of the first three episodes with games in them, I wonder if this trend will keep up.

PPS - I saw the note before and agree about not hijacking someone else's key post. The PS above was just referring to the season/episode numbers that were missing in the description of the previous key post.

Quoted from xsvtoys:

Watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit last night and saw two machines in the bar, one on either side of the big circle lit up sign. Mostly they are are in the background and you can barely see them.
You can see the Hurdy Gurdy when Valiant walks in here.
[quoted image]
This is the best you can see the other one.
[quoted image]
The Hurdy Gurdy is more visible for an instant as they go by it in this later scene.
[quoted image]

Here's a good screen capture that shows three games (!) - Gottlieb Buckaroo on the left, the Hurdy Gurdy in the middle (blocked), and mystery game on the right. Going by the rounded corner coin door and the coloring/lighting on the backglass, it looks like Bally Harvest (1964) with repainted cabinet art.

Wife is watching a movie called Thank God It's Friday. I see a gottlieb Volley and another couple games at Jeff Goldblums disco
[quoted image]

Gottlieb Big Hit next to the Volley. Got any screencaps of the others? Will have to check this movie out, looks like fun

Not sure about the bowler, but that woodrail is Gottlieb Queen of Diamonds. I recognize it because it has shown up a couple times in The Fugitive (perhaps it's even the same machine)

The Fugitive S3E10 (Landscape with Running Figures: Part 2)

The Chicago Coin Match Bowler from S01E03 shows up again. And there's a Williams Nags pin (1960) with a nice closeup.

Here's another one from The Fugitive - S3E30 ("Coralee"). In a bar fight, Kimble eats a knuckle sandwich on a 1960 Williams 21 woodrail

One more from The Fugitive - S4E12 ("The Devil's Disciples"). This time a local hippie gang takes over a diner with a Williams 4 Roses (1962). Doc Kimble looks incredibly guilty as usual.

I knew the IDs would be easier with this season in color, but they really handed me this one on a platter. There is even a good playfield closeup with some multiball action.

Quoted from o-din:

I know that dude.
[quoted image]

Boy he's been in this show a lot! I think he might be the number one repeat in the whole series. I could have done without seeing his teeth in color though.

Salem's Lot is already in the key posts, so just wanted to post some clearer screencaps (Gottlieb Royal Flush for the closeups; Volley, Jacks Open, and Big Brave in the row). As people posted already, it's nice to see these games when they were practically new!
