Pretty sure that's from The Bad News Bears (1976) (?)
From what you guys have shown already, I think it is indeed a Gottlieb Tropic Isle.
And I apologize for not having a better pic of it. It was a smartphone snap of paused DVD playback, and unfortunately my tower PC is down right now so I was unable to do an actual DVD rip for a clearer pic of that scene.
BTW, that episode also features a pre-Happy Days Tom Bosley as a womanizing businessman (!).
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Friends - 'The one with the flashback'
Sorry about the bad glare on the tv.
[quoted image]
4 Belles, Roto Pool (both Gottlieb)
"Five Easy Pieces" (1970) - Got 3 of the 5 pictured:
Far Left: Cover Girl (Gottlieb, 1962)
Middle: Lucky Strike (Williams, 1965; I -think- its ball-in-play score reel is on that backglass, if not then it's the Bowl-A-Strike AAB)
Far Right: North Star (Gottlieb, 1964)
I'll let you all ID the other two...
20200514_231733[2].jpgQuoted from dirkdiggler:Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I recently watched one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, Porky's. There's a Buccaneer and another pin beside it in the whore house and what looks to be a nip it later in the flick.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:[quoted image]
Think the unnamed one is Big Shot (Gottlieb, 1974).
Two separate pin scenes from Boogie Nights (1997) ...
First one shows a Stardust (Williams, 1971) and an Aladdin's Castle (Bally, 1976). The second scene has a side view of a Big Strike (Williams, 1966).
20200829_222058[2].jpg20200829_222507[2].jpg Added over 4 years ago:EDIT: Turns out the Big Strike is actually its replay sibling Hot Line. There's a backbox closeup of it later in the film that I somehow missed...
Quoted from schudel5:Knight Rider. Episode 417 "Knight of a Thousand Devils" glimpse of a Stern Flight 2000 at around the 25 minute mark.
I happen to have another one of Flight 2000 (Stern, 1980): The film Terms Of Endearment (1983) has the briefest view of this pin in the hotel lobby's arcade room (only 3-4 film frames; this pic's the most visible one of the game).
20201014_220343[2].jpgQuoted from Hammer3246:WKRP, no idea what machines, just loved the show.
[quoted image]
Lucky Seven (Williams, 1978), Pinball Pool (Gottlieb, 1979) in the background.
Probably my favorite '70s sitcom!
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Picture of Lucky Seven cabinet for reference:[quoted image]
now the question is is it a EM or a SS?
As I recall the episode doesn't show the backbox at all, only the cabinet left side.
Quoted from sunnRAT:Bally Nitro Groundshaker? Not 100% sure though.
Edit: Nope, its not Nitro. Heres another screenshot. [quoted image]
Quoted from TopMoose:Could it be Aladdin’s Castle?
Possibly Bobby Orr Power Play (Bally, 1978)? I see digital displays.
To the right of that one I'm calling Duotron (Gottlieb, 1974).
Quoted from illawarra92:Magnatron, the 4 player version
It's only showing two (2) lit score reel displays in Game Over mode, Magnotron would have all four lit. Plus from a distance it looks like the bolder lettering for the "DUOTRON" game name on the BG, Mag's lettering is more condensed for space and has nowhere near that much illuminated yellow.
Compare these two vids (beware - first one's loud!!)
Quoted from PinMonk:Do you know what episode this was, or even a clue of what it was about? That way I can attach the season and episode number.
"The Conspirators" (S7E05, 5/13/1978). It aired on MeTV recently.
FWIW, besides the Monte Carlo, there's also a 4 Square (Gottlieb, 1971) and a Flying Carpet (Gottlieb, 1972) in the same scene.
Quoted from scampcamp:On the Impractical Joker TV show... a monster truck crushed a pinball machine!! Isn't that against the law?
Should be if it's not.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Okay, So I can see the Nordamatic Champion and the Williams Winner, but I'm not sure about the other one. Is it a Gottlieb High Hand?
Top Hand (Gottlieb, 1973), the Italian version of Capt. Card (AAB of High Hand).
This was an interesting find; I was watching a vintage 1967 Championship Bowling film print on YouTube that still had its original commercials, and up comes this pinball-themed Schaefer beer commercial featuring a re-themed Double Action (Gottlieb, 1958) that "plays music" (that I'm assuming was Schaefer's jingle at the time).

uRKWuYY9DEg[068565].png
uRKWuYY9DEg[069212].png
Here's the commercial clip itself (the brief close-up of the flippers at the 38:14 mark gives away the actual game) ...
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:“Live and Let Die” with James Bond inside the Fillet of Soul establishment in Harlem. Going to need help identifying the two pins.[quoted image]
The left one is Dixieland (Bally, 1968).
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:MASH S3:E1
Need help with ID (this is the best frame I could find).
[quoted image]
Spot-A-Card (Gottlieb, 1960). This same game is also seen in at least one other episode later in the series; not sure which one(s).
Quoted from LeMansFan:Maybe it’s been mentioned already (I did search though and didn’t see it). Mrs. and I are watching Thelma & Louise. There’s a pinball machine in Thelma and her asshole husband Daryl’s house. Not sure which machine it is.
Fireball Non-Commercial/Home Version (Bally, 1976)
Quoted from ryansherwood:Firepower in It's Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books
[quoted image]
The first feature film from director Richard Linklater (Dazed And Confused); came out in 1988. He's the one playing FP. I believe it's an extra on Linklater's Slacker Criterion Blu-ray.
Quoted from ourdave76:Can anyone identify this pin from the 2007 film Blades of Glory at the 1:08:40 mark
[quoted image]
Looks like Circus (Bally, 1973) to me.
Quoted from kingpinman:1 machine unknown, Kid with Yankees jacket playing it.. Front of cabinet is shown.
Superman (Atari, 1979)
Quoted from kingpinman:Don't know the one next to Hollywood
I would say Top Score (Gottlieb, 1975) except the bottom front of the backbox frame doesn't match up.
Quoted from pinwiztom:one on far left might be BLY Knockout
as it looks like boxing gloves on the front of the CAB
Yes, Knockout (Bally, 1975).
Quoted from kingpinman:Ghostbusters
Stern Star wars, What Version?
[quoted image]
Both games are Pro editions.
A Star Is Born (1976 Streisand/Kristofferson version) ...
* Camelot (Bally, 1970) with ultra-gaudy cabinet paint and/or papering, even on the coin door + legs
* Suspense (Williams, 1969)
* Hit And Run Base-Ball (Williams, 1970)
The driving game on the far left -- same cab alteration as Camelot -- is a Chicago Coin Speedway.
There's also a coin-op Computer Quiz trivia game in the room (not shown).
20220504_002014[reduced].jpgQuoted from snowy_owl:Don't know if these is are real games, saw them in the background of a music video.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
2nd photo center machine looks like either a Set Up or Seven Up (Williams, 1969)
Quoted from Manhattan:How did this one not get posted yet? Mean Streets (1973)
[quoted image]
Quoted from gdonovan:Williams Magic City or Magic Town, can't make it out. 1967
Looks like Magic City from the wording, plus there's no white Balls To Play indicator that MT has at its top backglass edge.
MC's ball lights are along the right edge with a red Ball In Play square above them that's visible here (it's a white Previous Hi-Score space on MT).
Quoted from pinball2020:The pinball machine in the music video called Greatness is a "Huncho" machine. It is a retheme to tie in I would think with Rapper Quavo (Quavious Keyate Marshall “Quavo”,) and his name was Huncho in the Migos (If I got this right ).
[quoted image]
It appears to be a re-themed Quick Draw (Gottlieb, 1975) from the playfield layout.
Quoted from Oneironaut:Ghost Adventures - S25E03 - Fear in Flagstaff
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
From the cabinet front around the coin door I think it's TMNT Pro (Stern, 2020).
Quoted from ourdave76:The movie Runaway Nightmare, 1982. Only shows side cabinet, what pin is this?
[quoted image]
It's either the replay Drop-A-Card or add-a-ball Pop-A-Card (Gottlieb, 1971/1972 respectively).
(The 1971 Card King was the export version for Italy, same cab art.)
Quoted from bob_e:Murder in the first
S1 E10 Blunt the edge
Pin is in the back of a garage.
I don't know which game it is, thinking Gottlieb in the 60s.
[quoted image]
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:It looks familiar, but can't seem to recall. At first I was thinking Diamond Jack / King of Diamonds, but it's a different diamond paint scheme.
Quoted from Mopar:I'm thinking I have that game in storage (or if Replay, the AAB version),
but I can't recall the title..
#top-card (Gottlieb, 1974).
AAB is Royal Pair, exported to Italy.
Quoted from pinball2020:The Continental Season 1 Episode 2 at 58 minutes 02 seconds in.[quoted image]
#jet-spin / Super Spin (Gottlieb, 1977).
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Can't identify this one, but it's from "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950):
[quoted image]
Follies of 1940 (Genco, 1939). Previously posted but not ID'd.
https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=911 (game does not appear in the Pinside database.)
Quoted from Snickers45:Second comes from Star 80 (1983) at the Playboy Mansion, Eric Roberts playing a Bally's Strikes and Spares, Black Knight on the background. The one on the foreground is a Tri-Zone. Not sure the one next to Black Knight.
#skipper (Gottlieb, 1969).
Quoted from jibmums:Lisa Eilbacher and her gorgeous head of 70's hair, fixing a Bally Freedom in "On The Right Track".
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
This was previously posted & indexed two years ago:
Quoted from Nikrox2:Elevator to the gallows (1958). Music by Miles Davis.
What game is this ?
[quoted image]
#flag-ship (Gottlieb, 1957).
Only a backglass image in the database, more pics at https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=868.
Quoted from o-din:Ah yes, Walter Matthau as the drunk in Earthquake. Classic!
Matthau made a deal with the producer that he'd do this cameo without compensation only if he was credited in the film as "Walter Matuschanskayasky."
(No, that's not Matthau's real name despite years of rumors to the contrary.)
Quoted from pinwiztom:Obviously Flip Flop
then in 2nd from last photo
left to right
Honey
Night Rider
Sound Stage
?? ??
"300"
The one between Sound Stage and "300" looks like a Bow and Arrow (Bally, 1975).
Quoted from o-din:Hawaii 5-0 S8E20 "Turkey Shoot at Makapuu"
Williams Gulfstream and I'll let you guys figure out the other one.[quoted image]
Looks to me like Op-Pop-Pop (Bally, 1969).
