Quoted from Jackontherocks:

I am watching Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and just noticed a pinball game in Lex Luther's room in the background about half way through the movie. Could not tell but maybe Firepower?

Quoted from TheLaw:

2 machines, a Vector, and BK, or B2K.

Came across another picture on IMDB, first mentioned in the very first post of his thread! (without a picture)

The Streets of San Francisco S1E7 "Timelock" 1972

About 15 minutes in. Not really sure what it is but it has woodrails and they do show it working. Too busy working on my own machines at the moment. Yeah, real busy.

Might be a Bingo?

Quoted from pinwiztom:

Might be a Bingo?

It looks like he's flipping it and it has bumpers. You tell me! Go to 11:20.

Edit- does look like a bingo after all. But which one?

Now I gotta get back to the garage before Hawaii 5-0 comes on.

Quoted from o-din:

You tell me!

Some confusion is caused by the bells (pinball foley) sounds that one hears in background,
But when the fellas leave the bar and walk by the game , I do not see any flipper buttons
and when the one guy returns to the bar and enters the phone booth inside the bar
the game cabinet is painted a solid grey but you can tell by the way the head is mounted
it is a bingo and again no sign of flipper buttons.

From the reverse image in the back bar mirror it looks like it might be a 3 card bingo machine.

I am going to guess United Triple Play
Cause the positions of the cards look like they line up and green banners at the top of BG
and the light towers on the PF.

I never watched that show when it was first on, but between that and the Dirty Harry movies, it is interesting to see the different kinds of crime and law and order than that city is dealing with now. I just leave the TV on MeTV+ when I am working in that garage and post about pinball as they show up. Usually it's a quick glance then I have to find them on the interwebs.

I was not the usual hour long action drama series watcher,
but I do remember watching this series on occasion.
Maybe more so after I recognized that Michael Douglas
was producer of One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest.
Really like the theme music.
also enjoyed trying to recognize SF landmarks,
since I lived in the South Bay Area back in those days.

#4663 59 days ago

I just remember Michael Douglas had cool hair in that series and still does. It's a nice prelude to the highlight of the day,
Hawaii 5-O at 4 PM.

That bar scene was cool unto itself.

Another show with cool theme song/music

Yeah, but I don't see a lot of pinball.

Came close yesterday when Anthony Zerbe was the bad guy running an arcade and McGarrett heard the sounds on the phone and even mentioned pinball bells as the way to find him. They might have showed one earlier in the show, but I was working on stuff.

No full episode on YouTube, so this is all I got.

The Rookies are doing big things at The Pike today including a shootout on the moving ferris wheel, but sorry no trips inside the arcade.

Hawaii Five-0 S06 E22 "Mother's Deadly Helper"

Original run of 5-0. Looks like two machines. This was the best I could get from the shots.

1940 Genco “Big Town”

Thanks mooch.

#4679 53 days ago

The just-identified Big Town (Genco, 1940) is also in the 1970s disaster film Earthquake (1974).

Unless someone has a REALLY good eye I'm calling the other pin unidentifiable - can't see any real detail or markings on it anywhere in the scene.

Ah yes, Walter Matthau as the drunk in Earthquake. Classic!

Quoted from o-din:

Matthau made a deal with the producer that he'd do this cameo without compensation only if he was credited in the film as "Walter Matuschanskayasky."

(No, that's not Matthau's real name despite years of rumors to the contrary.)

OG S.W.A.T. "Dangerous Memories". S2E24 as best as I can tell. Our local TV Guide and the internet seem a little confused on that.

Best I could tell is it might be Nip It, but had other stuff going on and can't take screenshots off this stream.

But in the bar starting about the 20 minute mark with bells and some of our favorite people.

S.W.A.T. S02 E24 "Dangerous Memories" (1976)

Credit goes to o-din for the find. Looks like Nip It.

Best shots I could find from the stream. First picture, machine is on the right. Second picture, earlier in the episode, is on the left and clearer.
Thanks again, o-din
