Quoted from mooch:

I think it’s a 1961 Gottlieb “Flying Circus”
[quoted image]

Could be, but there are a few things that don't seem to match up when I darken, then blur the image so that it matches with the vid.. may also be the angle, etc. I've obsessed a bit myself about finding that one. Also brushed up on Keith Emerson - what a virtuoso he was!!

Quoted from mooch:

From the “Emerson, Lake & Palmer - World Tour 1973” documentary.
Screen shot of Keith Emerson at a piano in the barn building rec room of his Stonehill house in East Sussex, England.
What pin is in there? I can’t identify it.
[quoted image]

Okay, so I took a turn at trying to clear up the picture. The "4" may not be what it looks like. There appears to be something very dark on the back glass near the center. I'd almost say Gaffers Tape. It's much darker than anything else on the artwork what ever it is.

But the game does look like it's a four player Gottlieb or something similar.

But the cabinet is black, and I still see two faces of people facing each other...

At first, I was hoping it would be the ELP logo that you had uncovered, but it doesn't match, e.g. a guy that played the piano/organ with knives could have indeed modified a backglass with black tape. The whole cabinet could also have been repainted with some glossy piano paint, Keith Emerson was living in a Tudor era house after all..! It could be that Flying Circus, fits the shape and is looking more and more like a Gottlieb, but rethemed to better fit the decor?

I searched the auction pages from the Keith Emerson Estate, but I could not find any reference to a pinball. It would have been an old game by the time of his death, probably changed hands before. No reference to a pinball anywhere, nor from the point when the house was sold.

I'm contacting [email protected] unless someone has done it already or if anyone has better info?

Great job! Just couldn't blur it the right way. So Emerson's game was probably painted piano black to match with the decor when turned off. Lol, I'm glad this is settled! I actually wrote to a bunch of folks, including Mari Kawaguchi (his last wife). I like when a good mistery is resolved!

I think Ryan's camera just flipped the image - the numbers on the score reels and dart board are backwards too.

I played death race at the local arcade, it would be fun to have one now but sellers want 5K or more.

Action U.S.A. filmed in Texas in the late 80s. Bar scenes feature Riviera, Nitro Ground Shaker, and Tri Zone.

This movie is ridiculous, by the way.

Where's the key post for that one? Totally deserved..!
OP can you add that one.

Word to the wise. I use a two part search to see if a show/movie has already been posted. It's pretty quick and easy.

The easiest way to see if a show has already been posted is to search the thead for keywords using the show or movie name.

And then after that, at the top of the thread I click on "show topic index", then "show all key posts."
Then I press CTRL+F to do a browser page search for the show/movie. (Or if you're on a phone use the browsers "find in this page" function to do a secondary browser page search for the show/movie)

So I basically do a pinside thread search and then have all the key posts displayed and do a browser page search.

Now we're all human and make mistakes but this is the simple and quick 2 step system I employ before posting in this thread.

Someone already mentioned and pictured the Paragon in Stranger Things S4 E2 ... I watched it tonight and also noticed a Xenon next to it in a later scene (58:46) ... searched and found it mentioned in post #3717, but no pic, so here's a pic to claim it and for updating the key posts:

You don't have to look through all 75 pages.
Just use the topic index at the top of any page. Without the index it would just be mayhem - like you.

However, you can easily miss a movie or TV title because it listed under T (for "The...").
And it's not consistent. Even in the picture of the list you posted, "The Fugitive is listed as "Fugitive", but there's a lot of titles listed under "The"
Screen Shot 2022-08-01 at 10.23.22 PM (resized).pngScreen Shot 2022-08-01 at 10.23.22 PM (resized).png
So if I go to look up "The Enforcer" (which I have listed) Where do I look? Under THE Enforcer, or Enforcer?
Anything that starts with The should be listed more like this: (Enforcer, The) , or else half the list would end up under "The".

Are you trolling me?

Open all key post, CTRL-F on keyboard (Windows PC), type partial character string you are searching for, click through results to see if what you are looking for is there or not.

No, I'm not "Trolling" you.
I'm posting an actual problem with the key post list.
How do you think I found out this was a problem? I did what you suggested and it doesn't work if a lot of titles are listed as "The..."

Sorry, I just assumed most everyone knows how to do keyword search from the browser. Not sure what platform you are on, but like I stated if you expand the entire listing the do a search via your browser by keyword (CTRL-F in Windows) then you can quickly find any appearance of that term regardless of any definite articles (e.g. search for "Beatles" instead of "The Beatles"). I would assume MAC has something similar, but I know it is more complicated on a phone.

Bottom line is if you give it some effort, don't find it, post your photo, and then someone shows it was already posted, then it's no big deal if it happens occasionally. I've been guilty of this at least once when I thought I checked as best I could beforehand. I think that most of us who follow this thread just want people to make some effort to check for dups before posting. Just don't take it personally if someone is able to reference a previous posting.

OK, I checked the key post topic list, could not find anything for TV show Mike&Molly. My wife is one who found this yesterday on CMT, but forgot to get season and episode number. Looks like a slightly altered GTB Spot? POOL or is it Roto Pool.

It's Roto Pool
Probably from season 3 or 4

Hell in a Bucket by the Grateful Dead. Not a movie or TV show, I could say I saw it on MTV but nobody would believe that. Not the best era of the Dead but you only have to watch 20 seconds to see the F14 Tomcat.

Or watch the last 10 seconds for another peek at the pin.
