Quoted from Grayman_EM:

I saw that episode and the pinball machines. I think I said something about it in an earlier post about year ago or so. Isn't that the one where he burns the place down with all those pins inside! That is a horror story!!!

Yes, the arcade burns down at the end.

I forgot to mention that there's also a Mutoscope reel viewer in the same episode.

A Star Is Born (1976 Streisand/Kristofferson version) ...

* Camelot (Bally, 1970) with ultra-gaudy cabinet paint and/or papering, even on the coin door + legs
* Suspense (Williams, 1969)
* Hit And Run Base-Ball (Williams, 1970)

The driving game on the far left -- same cab alteration as Camelot -- is a Chicago Coin Speedway.

There's also a coin-op Computer Quiz trivia game in the room (not shown).

New movie on Netflix. Metal Lords. Iron Maiden and Metallica. Pretty fun movie too, especially if you like metal...

Was already posted.

Movie was fun entertainment, even my wife liked it (not a metal fan) but definitely better for metal fans. Great choices in the soundtrack as it went along, and the short cameos appearance was pretty awesome.

Yes, you missed it two pages back.

Being a new show, of course one can't be expected to look through 72 pages first. Even for old shows or movies that's excessive.

That's why we have a key post index. But even that takes multiple clicks to open up, then you get to wade through 900 entries. True, it's in alphabetical order, but it's still a slog.

Not in a movie per se, but a pinball item based on a movie.... friend was at Disney today and sent me this pic -- a pin if a Monsters Inc pinball machine!

Nothing But Trouble was Dan Aykroyd's only movie that he directed, but boy was it a doozie! I spotted this in a short documentary on youtube. I don't know if it is actually visible in the movie. I'm sure there are more pins in that huge pile!

It's incredible the effort the designers put into this movie. Sounds like they had a blast. Interesting video. I'll link it below.

I don't know what machine it is, I'll need your help!

Cabinet is definitely Gottlieb El Dorado. The head? I'm not sure. Either the wedge head colors are washed out or it's a different head alltogether.

Looks like they obstructed what it is with stick on stars, same on the KISS backglass.

Hey I think I’ve finally got a new one! Smallville (yes I searched) just got released on Hulu. If you like super hero lore and backstory and don’t mind some slightly corny acting, it’s a great series.

Season one episode 3, Hothead has a Stern Nine Ball in the coffee shop.

Nothing specific, but there's some pinball sounds in the bowling alley scene of the new Netflix movie, Senior Year with Rebel Wilson. It's not a very good movie though.

Ha , when I heard those sounds I said the same thing to my wife .
I didn't mind it , must be the Australian connection .

Can't tell what the other two pins are, but the one closest to the camera looks like it might be a Williams.

Love how each game sort of relates to the portrait it accompanies:

Ron Burgundy is the star (6 Million Dollar Man)
Champ Kind is the sports guy (Harlem Globetrotters)
Brick Tamland is the dummy (dense as an Eight Ball)
Brian Fantana is the ladies' man (Playboy)

Bally Super 8 Shuffle Bowler

I was watching NIGHTMARE WEEKEND and noticed Stern's GALAXY in multiple scenes

#3590 1 year ago

My wife and I were just watching on REELZ a true crime program called "I lived with a Killer" S1E9
This episode was about some Mafia thug, that was a partner in a pool hall that also was a front for a sports bookie.
Anyway in several scenes thruout, they showed the inside of the pool hall and they had 6 pinball machines in the background,
all were very blurry, but on occasion one or two came into focus.
One was a Shadow and another Walking Dead, and another was maybe Black Knight 2000.
The scene was supposed to take place in late 80s, early 90s, so of course, some of the machines were not era appropriate.
Unfortunately the photo I took of the screen was way too blurry to post.

Quoted from Jackontherocks:

Just discovered a new one in the movie called Killer Joe. 24 minutes into movie when they meet in the vacant billards room there is The Getaway High Speed II in back corner. Find thing as the name on outside cabinet is blanked out with blue paint or something but you can make it out throught backglass if paused. Appears to be fond on purpose with blue paint and of wood in front to avoid seeing name.

Here is the Getaway from the movie Killer Joe mentioned in the thread before but without a screen shot.
