Quoted from girloveswaffles:

Would you believe[quoted image] the one on the right has a trimmed down version of Sterns Indiana Jones Translight? :[quoted image]
.... Or maybe there's a Indy VE coming out?

Heh. I looked through a couple dozen WMS machines, clicking their IPDB entries knowing full well they weren't right. Didn't even think to look at Sterns.

A weird amount of effort to go through on the ad agency's part though.

#3252 2 years ago

I'm enjoying all this sleuthing.

#3253 2 years ago

In the right hand machine back glass The top left looks like Indiana Jones but the middle right looks like batman66. Also the cabinets of the two on the right are identical and the green button on The right side of the cabinets is like the extra ball button but that isn’t a modern cabinet feature. Definitely slice and dice your way to Frankenstein machines.

There is a pinball machine in the new "Ghostbusters - Afterlife" film. I think it was a Fireball Home version, but without being able to stop the film and see, I can't be certain.

Just a tip if you're watching shows on a windows computer you can hold ALT-PrtSc and it will capture the current window. You can then load paint or whatever hit CTRL-V to paste the captured frame and then save to have a perfect copy of the video in that window.

The movie Role Models

I'm actually trying to buy one of these and a street fighter 2 right now. It's hard for someone to realize their rusty beat up torn apart toy isn't worth the full price when it needs so much attention.

Quoted from JadedHesher:

So i'm guessing you'd like me to delete my post then.

No, just letting you know why it won't be indexed.

If you click topic index link at the top of any page in this thread, then click to sort by keypost summary, it will show you all the shows already there, in alphabetical order so it's easy to see if the one you found already has been reported. The only thing that's a little off in the index is the movie titles that start with "The" are in the process of being changed to <title, the> format, but I haven't gotten all of them switched to the more standard format.

Not necessarily - next time, just search this thread with the movie name BEFORE you post to see if anyone else logged it already. Saves from a lot of double posting.

Sorry, I didn't know. Saw the movie the other day and I happen to be trying to buy one. saw this thread, etc etc.

Okay, so I used the search function and DID NOT FIND THIS IN THERE ! I Swear lol.

The TV show "Sliders" season 3, episode #26, "The Guardian"

1984 "Jacks to Open" from Gottlieb

When they first walk into the bar, a pretty lady is sitting down and leaning on it, you can see the playfield and a bit of the side decal.

It will be interesting to see what (era correct?) pinball machines show up in this new movie based in the mid-70's. Towards the end of the movie, the protagonist opens a pinball arcade.

Elvira and more, New episode of "Modern Marvel's" S-19 E-5. Everyone should watch! At the Stern Factory.

Here's a direct link to that Modern Marvel's segment:

Actually, in retrospect, that segment above is a DIFFERENT Modern Marvel's segment at Stern Pinball! That newer Modern Marvel's segment actually aired this weekend and is listed in TheTVDB as Season 22, Episode 01 "Classic Toys".

#3289 2 years ago

On Netflix "Outlaws" 8min and 45 seconds you see some pinball play at an arcade, I just started it and it's English dubbed. Mainly it's focused on Buck Rogers.

Not a TV show or movie, but still fun to share. A local bowling center I frequent for tournaments and pinball play posted a cool drone fly-through video this evening of their establishment. At about 1m 18s in, the drone flies through the pinball room. What titles can you name?

Nice job! First ?? is Jokerz, second ?? I can't remember , and third ?? is NBA Fast Break. They all look nice on the fast fly-by, but TBH many of them are poorly maintained and it's rare to have less than 6 or 7 pins totally inoperative or impaired enough that it's a waste of money to play. Such a shame - lots of nice old SS titles with some that are difficult to find in the wild.

I've talked to the operator a couple of times. Nice enough guy, but as an example I pumped a punch of quarters into NBA Fast Break for 3 credits ones day and the ball wouldn't eject out of the outhole (you could hear the coil firing but the ball stayed put). He happened to be there, with his tool box, and I pointed it out to him. He turned off the machine, asked me what other pin I wanted to play, and he rang it up with 5 credits for me. I asked him if he was going to look at NBA Fast Break (he did have his tool box) but said he'd have to check it out some other time and promptly left. I get it that maybe he some appointment to get to, but at that same visit Fireball's left flipper was inop (game was on), STTNG cannons each had ONE screw holding down the covers instead of four which made them sway and interfere with ball firing (game was on), almost half of Eight Ball's control lamps were out, and one of HG's multiplier drop targets wouldn't stay up on reset (game was on). He seemed to be there just to collect the money even tho he had his tools with him.

Can someone ID this game? This was from a show called Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, aired on Dec 11 1994. This episode featured a segment on Neil Young and his son. 085C447C-43E9-444F-A178-ECAD75B99A36 (resized).jpeg085C447C-43E9-444F-A178-ECAD75B99A36 (resized).jpeg

I hear ya, I'm like do I sell a 1st Appearance comic book of a super hero to fund another machine or play what I got and wait for the MCU in the next 10 years to fund a bigger better game room of what I want. Uh, If there's a BTTF, Megadeth, new X-MEN, CGC CV and or CP/TOTAN my collection would be screwed. Time will tell.
