Quoted from Rolls-Royce:

"Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For(2014)", TwoHeartedMale mentioned this title 3 years back , I just wanted to add the pics.

On left is a Gottlieb Mars God of War, center, Williams Fun Fest. I can't tell what the wood-rail on the right is.

How about WMS Satin Doll
thumbs up if you think i am correct
[quoted image]
Looking closer, thinking probably not, but does have the WMS EM look to it.

I think it's rather a Williams' Super-Flite.

Quoted from dirkdiggler:

It's a Bears translite. I mentioned it a couple years back.

I searched & didn't find anything, sorry about that. Also, looked like a green tint on my photo which is why I went with Eagles, but Bears makes sense - thanks.

What bingo game is this? In the movie The Black Six, 1973. Has 6 NFL greats from that time period and most are now hall of famers. Clips of the game are from 0:53:18 to 0:56:38. Photo is at the 0:56:03 mark.

United Havana. Weird. My same answer as post #3202. Except that answer was for the regular flipperless pin.

United recycled a few other of their 40's pin names for use on their bingos. Possibly to make it appear that the bingos were regular pins on confiscation lists in certain jurisdictions where bingos were illegal.

Brazil, Havana, Hawaii, Manhattan, Mexico, Nevada, Rio, Singapore and Tropicana were names used twice.

#3207 2 years ago

Thanks. Definitely weird. First a United 1947 flipperless and the second a 1954 United bingo.

#3208 2 years ago

What 2 prewar 1930's pins are these. Movie is Bullets or Ballots 1936 with Humphrey Bogart First is at the 0:03:26 mark and the second is at 0:41:14.

As a noob, I would kindly refer you to the topic index and search feature before posting a spotted pin. While not foolproof, it will limit multiple posts of the same spotting.

Here is this same spotting as yours previously posted: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pinball-in-movies-or-tv-shows-name-a-game-you-have-seen-in-the-background/page/64#post-6557618

ODD COUPLE 1968--something in there I can't tell.

Sorry, but the machine isn't fully revealed. I saw the playfield being panned over as Jack Lemmon plays the game while out with Oscar on the town. It was a 50s-60s game, though. No pic. Easy to find if you know the film, might be harder to ID.

Saw BAD NEWS BEARS yesterday and there are a few shots of that arcade they have, with a plethora of games from Cape. Card to Spin a Card and Big Injun, Gulfstream, etc. I would assume that was filmed in a real arcade of the time, and that shows the longevity of some games--5-6 years easily. Also note how bright white they were, not the faded cream color many accept or believe was original.

A non-pinsider asked me for photos of my CCM Sound Stage yesterday so he can make a 3D printed mini-replica of it. Apparently he's a fan of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies, and it was featured prominently in a scene in one of their movies. Ironically the movie is "Odds and Evens" and it doesn't feature an Odds and Evens pinball.

Spin A Card (1969)

I love me some Giallo too so I gave myself homework to watch NY Ripper, but I had a couple slightly different answers for that scene. Shudder has a very high quality version of the movie:
I got 4 as:
Playmatic Jolly Ride. I didn't capture it here, but there's a shot where you can see "Jolly Ride" on the backglass.
Gottleib Pioneer I thought this was Spirit of '76, but that's 4 player.
Gottleib Mustang (I think it's Mustang because I only see 2 player scores, I think Bronco is 4 player)
I did also get Night Rider, but couldn't nail down the 5th one. I think that's the one you had as Old Chicago?

Roller Coaster’s cabinet has orange stripes, like in the photo. Jolly Park’s cabinet has blue diamonds.

Mustang is the 2-player version of Bronco. It looks like there are fewer score reels so I think you’re right about that one.

#3231 2 years ago

Maybe it’s been mentioned already (I did search though and didn’t see it). Mrs. and I are watching Thelma & Louise. There’s a pinball machine in Thelma and her asshole husband Daryl’s house. Not sure which machine it is.

I was able to go back and get a shot of the backglass and a bit of the side, but it's mostly blocked by Pioneer. It's the single player Jolly Ride, it has stripes and arrows on it, the arrows are just covered up.

Interesting! I did a little more digging in the IPDB and it looks like the 1-player Jolly Ride was made with blue diamonds while the 2 and 4-players have orange stripes, like Roller Coaster. Could this be a 1-player game in a 4-player cabinet? Or a 1-player game re-painted with the 4-player stencil?

Nope. Playmatic put out both a 1 and a four player version:

BMX Bandits (1983) and one of Nicole Kidman's first movies.

Two machines in the background of the local takeaway shop.

Bonus nostalgia for the Telecom public pay phone in original red - as kids we used to call them the Batphones from the 1960's TV series with Adam West.

I know I’m raising my 10 year old daughter right, because we were watching Christmas Chronicles. She shouted out “look dad they have some pinball machines in the background!”. Truly proud parenting moment!

Yeah - they're definitely modified, and I think you're right. The one on the left is clearly Addams Family, but the proportions all all off, like they printed a smaller size translite and placed it in a new Stern. The big start button definitely isn't from an actual Addams cabinet.

Still can't quite place the one on the right though.

Dig Dug on the left of the guy though.

I'm convinced it's Indiana Jones and the Addams Family .
On TAF you can see where the kids are and look at the lights from the windows , the bottom right is darker and the top left is higher and you can tell the car on the left .
I didn't spot the Stern looking cabinets , people have sharper eyes than me .
Why would you bother going to all that trouble .
