In perhaps the strangest pinball connection, there was a pinball-themed show stopper on the latest episode of The Great British Baking Show.FB21A81E-A95E-4FE3-9257-B7E800C5F636 (resized).jpegFB21A81E-A95E-4FE3-9257-B7E800C5F636 (resized).jpeg

Bally Amigo and CC Gunsmoke on the far right. The center looks like a Williams Fun Fest.

Not a pinball machine, but a pinball themed commissioned/signed artwork by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam on Pawn Stars S19:E0

Pawn stars is such a joke most "sellers are staged actors" and the TV show has made them more money in the last 5 years than the actual store.

My favorite quote "not going to happen" when he hears the sellers asking price.

I much prefer Hardcore Pawn. If your going to watch pawn it should be hardcore.

$150

After Marvin of Marvelous Marvins Mechanical Museum declined to ship his electric chair to Vegas and have Marvin be the "expert" the producers got the electric chair to Les of Hardcore.

Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:

Different kind of post for this thread, but it fits well enough I think.
My wife and I just watched the last episode of a little HBO documentary about a small town TV station in Pahrump, NV. It's called "Small Town News: KPVM Pahrump" not the greatest thing ever, but entertaining enough to watch if anyone's interested in short documentary shows.
Anyway - final episode includes some footage of them creating an ad for a local attorney. Can't find that exact clip online, but the commercial itself is on Youtube. Sitting next to my wife as she sat there confused - "Where the Hell have I heard that before?!?" was rather funny.

If you don't recognize that, the same background tune was used for one of the songs in Deadpool.

Jump to 10:20 if the time stamp doesn't work.

The fact that a modern pinball sound designer would even consider using stock music, let alone actually use it, just makes me super, super sad.

Just watched 'Marathon Man' yesterday, and there is a close-up of the EM "Polo" in a scene. They actually use the sounds of the game as well in the close-up as a transition between scenes.

not sure what the one on the right is, but I watched maximum overdrive the other night and I popped hard when I saw the Night Rider!

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

That is an original painting but PJ has never used it for an official poster. The artist was trying to sell it, but value was only about $6K when authenticated. If it had been used for a poster it would have been worth significantly more.

Interesting. Thanks for getting back to me.

Not sure if this has been posted, but I found a terminator 3 and scared stiff (?) in a Fort Minor music video. Do music videos count in this thread?

They have been posted before, as well as commercials too - and a search of "Fort" in the thread only turns up Fort Apache, so this is an original post - snowy_owl - remember the name

1967 Bally The Wiggler is my guess.

Funny thing is, I've never seen an "Alligator " before. but deducting from the cabinet, coin door and being the it was a four player Bally, I was able to find it using IPMD.
