In perhaps the strangest pinball connection, there was a pinball-themed show stopper on the latest episode of The Great British Baking Show.FB21A81E-A95E-4FE3-9257-B7E800C5F636 (resized).jpeg

Pawn stars is such a joke most "sellers are staged actors" and the TV show has made them more money in the last 5 years than the actual store.
My favorite quote "not going to happen" when he hears the sellers asking price.

I much prefer Hardcore Pawn. If your going to watch pawn it should be hardcore.

Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:Different kind of post for this thread, but it fits well enough I think.
My wife and I just watched the last episode of a little HBO documentary about a small town TV station in Pahrump, NV. It's called "Small Town News: KPVM Pahrump" not the greatest thing ever, but entertaining enough to watch if anyone's interested in short documentary shows.
Anyway - final episode includes some footage of them creating an ad for a local attorney. Can't find that exact clip online, but the commercial itself is on Youtube. Sitting next to my wife as she sat there confused - "Where the Hell have I heard that before?!?" was rather funny. If you don't recognize that, the same background tune was used for one of the songs in Deadpool.
Jump to 10:20 if the time stamp doesn't work.
The fact that a modern pinball sound designer would even consider using stock music, let alone actually use it, just makes me super, super sad.

Just watched 'Marathon Man' yesterday, and there is a close-up of the EM "Polo" in a scene. They actually use the sounds of the game as well in the close-up as a transition between scenes.
Quoted from adtseismo:not sure what the one on the right is, but I watched maximum overdrive the other night and I popped hard when I saw the Night Rider!

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:That is an original painting but PJ has never used it for an official poster. The artist was trying to sell it, but value was only about $6K when authenticated. If it had been used for a poster it would have been worth significantly more.
Interesting. Thanks for getting back to me.

They have been posted before, as well as commercials too - and a search of "Fort" in the thread only turns up Fort Apache, so this is an original post - snowy_owl - remember the name

Funny thing is, I've never seen an "Alligator " before. but deducting from the cabinet, coin door and being the it was a four player Bally, I was able to find it using IPMD.
