Quoted from mbeardsley:Why do shows cover or alter the game names on the machines?
Short answer: Easier than involving lawyers, and much, MUCH cheaper.

Quoted from Darcy:An Quantum Leap episode, called 'Mirror Image'. Has a Gottlieb Baseball in the bar scenes.

Gottlieb by the displays I think.
Edit: Devils Dare, I'm 90% sure of it based on the number of displays, locations and color and the targets visible on the center and left side of playfield.
I didn’t spot a pin, but I sure as heck heard one. Just watching Hard Eight. At 29:20 there is a casino scene, which initially has classic slot sounds, but at 29.36 I’m hearing classic Bally EE background sounds. Or did Bally use that sound in some of their slots?

Okay, So I can see the Nordamatic Champion and the Williams Winner, but I'm not sure about the other one. Is it a Gottlieb High Hand?

Top Hand (Gottlieb, 1973), the Italian version of Capt. Card (AAB of High Hand).
From TV show CAR KINGS two of the cast members were playing pinball. I only caught this part, I don't know if these games were in their break room or where. They were playing Wizard and 4 Million BC. The name of the shop where they customize cars is GALPIN AUTO SPORT. Poor quality picture is from my cell phone .

Laserball on the left.
I saw a new TV ad the other day, where for a second or two they show a lady playing what looks like a Bally Expressway.
Can't remember what they were selling though.
Quoted from PinMonk:Entourage? but what season and episode?

Looks like it was mentioned once 8 years ago, but no pics -
Quoted from taz:There's a Black Rose in the opening scenes of Stephen King's The Stand. You can see it in a cafeteria as the camera pans over some of the first folks who bought the farm from the escaped super virus.
Got a screen shot from youtube, not real clear but here it is:

1941 Gottlieb Sea Hawk
image-2 (resized).jpgQuoted from MacroMegas:Pam Grier’s sons are playing Harlem Globetrotters when she finds them skipping school in Mars Attacks!
I was watching (in the background) a 1949 movie, and I saw a redemption game with a CLAW in it grasping a heavy camera (which let go at the last second)

When were claw games introduced? I had no IDEA they were that old.

Is that pinball-Pat McMahon? He did the artwork on Black Rose.

Quoted from ReadyPO:"Beat", season 1, episode 4 - A German show dubbed into English and currently showing on Amazon Prime. A T2 with a rusty lockdown bar, being played by a Russian gangster.

Nice. How old is this show? That T2 looks like it's never had the glass taken off!

It is new, 2018. At least it appeared to be fully functioning but obviously in need of some TLC.
Croods (first one) in the "Punch Monkey" scene, you can clearly hear chimes from an EM as he is being beaten by the monkeys.

When set decorators don't pay attention. I haven't seen this, but I'm willing to bet that they had EM chime sound effects in the background.

Lol, actually they had no sound effects or gameplay noises from the dmd era games, Tully did play a solid state but I don’t remember any noises but flippers maybe. So at least they didn’t botch the noise
i was watching Major League 2 a couple days ago and i could not identify the machine they showed a few times. It was driving me crazy

Just started Tanner '88 today after watching a Charlie Rose interview with Robert Altman. This pin was the star of the opening credit role in episode two. Surprised this show slipped through especially being a big Altman fan. It sure feels 'Altmanesque' as they say.
Also, remember this scene when you are purchasing a pin that mentions being on route... Two ashtrays and three drinks on the glass. It drove me crazy watching the girl fumble with her stemware putting it down on the glass.

Possibly a Big Deal (Williams 1977) on the left and a Bronco (Gottlieb 1977) on the right?
