Quoted from pinwiztom:I thought it was a Classic Stern, but was looking too yellow in the cropped photo,
probably from badly faded cabinet
or bad color TV set reception
Totally agree. It looks as if most of the red is faded out (and not evenly).

I think you are right.
4P EM
Score Reels are in correct place
and blurry image and name look to be good match.
late 70s GTBs 4P score reels are in a different configurations.

Exactly
The W-score-reels are "tighter together" than on B or G, and that's an important point.
But I recognized S-F immediately, always loved it and spent hundreds of hours with it
My wife was watching on the CW network last night a new show
Called Katy Keene ( part of the Archie Riverdale productions)
Anyway there were several scenes that take place in a Cabaret bar
( that is the regular hang out for the cast apparently);
and there was at least one EM pin in the background,
but i was not able to determine what game it was
nor to grab any photos.
An aside about the show,
It is kinda soap operaee,
with lots and lots of musical numbers that bring the story forward
or at least tries to bring it forward,
Not exactly our cup of tea,
if it did not have the song and dance every 5 minutes,
my wife said she might have tuned in again.
Fellas,
"War Of The Worlds(2005)", Tom Cruise had a Pinball in a closet before his kitchen, "Friday The 13th Part 2(1981)", KISS Pinball in a bar, and in The Simpsons Mr. Burns and Homer go to Scotland searching the Loch Ness for “Nessie" and Homer went to play Pinball

The pin in War of the Worlds is a Nitro Ground Shaker.
No pictures but I was watching the news and they were interviewing the owner of Pink Cadillacs Malt Shop in Saskatoon. They're giving away free meals while being closed to the public for Covid19. During the 2 minute segment sat proudly in the background was my buddies Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Quoted from Daditude:I was watching "Sky High" with my kids and saw a pinball. It looks like they took a real pin (no clue what it is), and made their own back glass.[quoted image]
Regarding the shape of the backbox and the wide pedestal it seems to be a Bally from 67 to 74.
That what's visible from the score-reels, 1 at the lower left and 2 at the upper and middle right, 5-digits, and the small part that can be seen from the playfield indicate it could be a "modified" FIREBALL.
HBO's latest mini-series THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA has a scene in episode one where one of the characters is beating up on a 1940 era pinball machine. I couldn't find the clip online. Maybe someone else can.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:From the first episode of "The Invaders", 1963 Gottlieb Gaucho and an unidentified United Bowler:
I'm pretty sure that's a 1960 United's "Sure Fire" bowler..

Looks like you're right.

You can make out part of the name in the third picture I posted. Thanks!

Quoted from dirkdiggler:I've watched the Bourne identity probably 20x over the years and never noticed this before. Looks like a pin or two in the diner Jason and Marie stop at?[quoted image]
Yes, but what pins are they?
I know I started this thread but wish there was a way or list that would pop of everything we have listed. I am starting to lose track.
Quoted from Jackontherocks:I am starting to lose track.
Yup, I agree. As I saw a film last night that had a whole row of pins in a elongated scene featured promptly,
but am going to try to do a search in this topic
with movie name, to verify if posted before prior to me posting about it.
chances are it was posted before, but worth the try,
might add it anyway since i have fairly decent screenshots.
Just do a word search for the thread. As long as people type the name of the show when posting then it shouldn't be too hard to see if somethings been posted before.
Well after a cursory search the movie
American Graffiti was cited previously in post#240
& #242 (with actual list of pin names from the scene),
but with no photos or screen shots
so see below for the scene.
One correction to post #242 list,
the WMS Pitch&Bat is Ball Park not Base Hit that is shown in the scene.
Scene is where Richard Dreyfuss character is forced to cover for the gang
"The Pharaohs" breaking into the machines for money,
they then take a liking to him and suggest he joins.
Wondering how many of the youth back in the day,
this exact scenario was their introduction
to the juvenile delinquent lifestyle.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:As long as people type the name of the show when posting
Assuming they spell it correctly.
Movies probably easier to search and sort thru,
TV shows maybe a bit harder as there are multiple episodes to possibly search thru.

Sounds like it's time for a Sticky post with a full list, or a Google Spreadsheet, or something!

Agreed
I've posted these links to Pingeek's site many times here. A lot of the games posted here are already on his site. Easy to check.

That's a Black Knight 2000.

Yep I mentioned both of these a few pages back. So, about that list/spreadsheet....

That's what I do. Quick search to see if been mentioned before. Either movie title or game
1982 "They Call Me Bruce", but need help with identification.
pasted_image (resized).png Added over 4 years ago:Supersonic
Quoted from DropTarget:supersonic
Ahh, very cool. I just looked it up and seems the pin was loosely based on the Concord supersonic commercial jet.

Hes also got a BTTF as shown during those interviews. Makes sense as both have terrible Data East renditions of ZZ Top songs.
I wonder if he's got an HS2 also.
"When you see Arec Barrwin, you will see the true ugriness of human nature." . . . "You are worthless Arec Barrwin."
Personally, I kind of share the sentiment.
Quoted from MacroMegas:Pam Grier’s sons are playing Harlem Globetrotters when she finds them skipping school in Mars Attacks!
Was watching the movie and got some screenshots of it. I used the search function to find this comment with no pics.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Police Academy has been mentioned before but no one has named all three games. Always funny watching a pin going down the street[quoted image][quoted image]
The bowling one is Williams Triple Strike.
