Quoted from pinwiztom:looks like it is a game disguised in part but basically BLY Expressway.
I was thinking the same thing, Backbox angle looks wrong and the rear end of the machine looks cut off.
Huh, they stuck a fake backbox in front of the real one, and the back legs and real backbox are hidden behind the black curtain. Set design!

Strangest thing regarding that pic is the cabinet. It's the new-style Bally-cabinet from 1974 onwards (Expressway from 1971 used the type with the lift-up-frame and the black front-door) but nevertheless it's got the original artwork. The backbox still is the original one.
Quoted from flipper_fever76:Stuck overseas at the mercy of one english movie channel and just watched The Abyss.....sure enough, there's a pinball machine at the bottom of the ocean. I couldn't make out what it was though. Also funny how I never noticed pins in movies before I became a ragging pinball addict.
I am watching "The Abyss" and did a search to see if the pin in this movie (about 49 minutes in ) was ever identified -and nope! But I am almost 100% sure it is a DE Secret Service
Quoted from allsportdvd:Here’s one. It’s set in the 1980’s as it’s about the Green River Killer but I couldn’t help noticing that there is a 2003 Roller Coaster Tycoon in the background. Attention to detail people [quoted image]
They probably just think... Hey its a pinball it must be OLD!
Sad thing though even if they knew nothing about pinball. Roller Coaster Tycoon was a popular video game and had tv commercials. So to me its a double fail.

Hey, my friend Sam is in that movie!

Yes. Secret Service. http://www.pingeek.com/film/film.htm

Yes, Night Rider. Compare playfields (or at least what's left of the one in The Crow):

Second picture is a different pin (bumpers look like Gottlieb).
Quoted from DropTarget:Does anyone watch "Kidding" on Showtime?
Man that is such a heavy show! Really unexpectedly bizarre and deep
I'm not a huge Jim Carrey fan, but I think he's great in it, and it's the smartest show on TV right now. Brilliant writing, direction, art direction, set design, editing etc.
Have you seen the season finale, where there is a Jeff Pickles pinball machine? It's in a flashback, and is the wrong display type for the era, but it really goes to show how pinball is making a comeback, and is in the public consciousness again.
I don't have screen shots.
oh yeah, I guess it's 'a tad' on the dark side!

Did not realize there was a season 2! Extremely positive reviews too..
Quoted from DropTarget:Season 2 was positively brilliant.
It went quickly as Showtime aired 2 episodes at a time, so the whole thing lasted 5 weeks.
but I digress......back to pinball.......[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Looks like a re-themed Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Perhaps, They did a good job, even changing the display......Or at least laying a monitor across the front.

Quoted from bob_e:On TV is on TV
Last night durring a, Young Sheldon, there was a Dukes of Hazard on the TV Sheldon was watching.
So in the background in the Boarsnest, I guess, is a Gottlieb Jungle or Wild Life.[quoted image]
Quoted from Stal8080:In the Adam Sandler movie blended there is a DE Star Wars
Just saw it tonight.
Photos is from the movie Blended starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
Quoted from Daditude:Uncut gems?
Huh? Is that a show? Was referring to “Blended” with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
Quoted from Daditude:What movie is it? "Uncut Gems" -Adam Sandler?
Okay, you must have missed “Blended” in the quote I referenced. Hadn’t heard of Uncut Gems, have to look that one up.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:Hadn’t heard of Uncut Gems, have to look that one up.
Uncut Gems is a 2019 American crime thriller film directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ronald Bronstein. The film stars Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner, a Jewish jeweler and gambling addict in New York City's Diamond District, who must retrieve an expensive gem he purchased to pay off his debts. The film also stars Kevin Garnett, Idina Menzel, Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, and Eric Bogosian. Filming took place from September to November 2018. The original score was composed by Daniel Lopatin. Distribution by Netflix.
Apparently, it is Sandler's role of his lifetime.
It has VERY high ratings.

Sandler really loses himself in the role - he is on fire in the movie. The movie itself? It has phenomenal potential but doesn’t quite stick the landing. Still good, but It is clearly elevated by the curiosity of “Sandler can act?!” (Which he definitely can.. just not often)
Idina Menzel is almost wasted in the role of the neglected wife who is bursting at the seams to leave him.
Anyway, it’s not “Blended”
It has bugged me forever trying to identify this, but I remember when I was little seeing Space Mission/Odyssey in a bar scene in either 'All in the Family' or maybe 'Archie Bunker's Place'. We had one growing up, so I immediately recognized the cabinet art (I believe it was in the foreground facing out towards Caroll O'Connor). I'd love to figure out exactly what show/episode that was ..

Maybe this post will help ^

I had a feeling it would be in here somewhere, but for some reason searching didn't turn up your post. Did you create that list by watching all the episodes? I.e. Do you think it's definitive or could there be more? Now I'm tempted to do it to see where I saw Space Mission/Odyssey. Could have been the spinoff show too .. I don't really remember much other than seeing it and saying "Hey!"

I found that somewhere online.
There was a spin off show called "Archies Place" so it could have been during that show that you saw the space mission/odyssey.
My wife watched both shows and said both had pins in them at the bar.
