Quoted from fatality83:Do you remember what episode that was?
Ask this old house. Season 18 , episode 8
"We need a scene where the cop confronts some juvenile delinquents."
"Let's do the pinball machine in the convenience store!"
This must have been an early prototype Jack*Bot, you could here the score reels and other EM effects, ha. Also, this was when they were still putting the power switch at the back left! (He's reaching to switch it off). Also, kid was playing while it was in attract mode: high scores were scrolling.
It made me wonder what time period the show was supposed to be taking place. But I guess it might not be that unrealistic if it's contemporary to when it was made.
Since the machine is obvious, name the show, ha. Bonus points if you know this scene's plot!

Everybody Loves Raymond - Confronting the attacker
Robert Barone confronts a young punk at a convenience store and ends up getting rattled when the kid starts giving him grief.
(I know this cos I posted about it in this thread a while back)
Ha, don't spoil it for the others! But why is he rattled?
Ah, found your post: but you didn't have the pic... now we got it.
Quoted from HighVoltage:Ha, don't spoil it for the others! But why is he rattled?

I believe he got rattled because it was his first shift back to work after getting gored in the ass by a bull. Lol
From Route 66 show clip, it appears the pin closest (on the right)
is a WMS Reserve, mostly ID'd from Cabinet paint scheme.
pasted_image (resized).png
Game on the left appears to be a GTB Wedgehead. But can not ID yet.
Since the time for wedgeheads prior to mid 1963 is limited and studying ipdb.org
and looking at score reel placement within the BG frame,
I have deduced that the other game is GTB Tropic Isle.

Agree about Reserve, but the backbox on Tropic Isle doesn't look like the one in the OP post.
Screen Shot 2020-02-03 at 7.13.00 PM (resized).pngWhen you blow up the Route 66 screen snap,
which i tried to show attached, I feel fairly confident that it is Tropic Isle.
I admit that in its fuzzy out of focus state, it is far from clear.
The score reels are in the correct spot for Tropic Isle
and from 1960 to 1963, GTB only had a couple dozen wedge heads released up until then,
& I eliminated all the pins with score reels in top half of the Backglass.
The Hawaiian beauty silhouette head and bust on the left of the BG is definitely there
and on the right the little dark blob is the parrot, the hi score to date is in the right spot.

Oddly enough, the backglass does looks like it could be it, but the sides of the frame area of the backbox look to narrow.
BTW, The "Blob" on the right is a monkey (IPDB).
Looked up the episode online. Features a young Alan Alda playing ... ... a Doctor.
From what you guys have shown already, I think it is indeed a Gottlieb Tropic Isle.
And I apologize for not having a better pic of it. It was a smartphone snap of paused DVD playback, and unfortunately my tower PC is down right now so I was unable to do an actual DVD rip for a clearer pic of that scene.
BTW, that episode also features a pre-Happy Days Tom Bosley as a womanizing businessman (!).
Quoted from girloveswaffles:BTW, The "Blob" on the right is a monkey (IPDB).
The dark blob i was referring to is indeed a parrot.
The monkeys are Backglass light animation, as they climb the palm tree trunk
and only can be seen easily when the light bulb behind the Glass is lit up,
at each stage progression, (completing the ABCD spot targets each time).
Quoted from Honch:Gomez Addams on the 1960's TV show, plays a 1960 Dancing Dolls.

Addams Family S2E3
Dancing Dolls.
Was pointed out previously on post#101, but without any photos.

The first topper on a back-box?
you will also notice that they added side panels that light up to the backbox,
As well as a modified plunger (extra long)
Love to know where that game (movie prop) ended up
Quoted from bob_e:Dukes of Hazard
Quoted from bob_e:I guess, is a Gottlieb Jungle or Wild Life.
I’m actually having trouble seeing that.
Quoted from bob_e:Young Sheldon, there was a Dukes of Hazard on the TV Sheldon was watching
Actually it was a flashback that his older brother (Georgie) was having, when asked by his sis (Missy)
if he ever had a crush on someone, when he was young.

Last night durring a, Young Sheldon, there was a Dukes of Hazard on the TV Sheldon was watching.
So in the background in the Boarsnest, I guess, is a Gottlieb Jungle or Wild Life.[quoted image]
That's a Gottlieb Jungle cab
Quoted from PinballPunk:Watching Dukes of Hazard season 1 ep 1 earlier and noticed three machines in the background.[quoted image][quoted image]
Freedom, Captain Fantastic and Lost World
It's been a while since I've watch Dukes but I think there's a couple more pins in the opening episode?
Quoted from bob_e:Last night durring a, Young Sheldon, there was a Dukes of Hazard on the TV Sheldon was watching.
Pinball in a TV show that’s in a TV show - awesome! BTW, How many times did you replay that scene before you realized there was a pin in the shot too?

I've been checking out some "The Fugitive" utube videos, and this is from "Fear in a Desert City"
mid 60s, and knew I had that 1st machine on right in storage, so looked it up, and my 1st guess was
right. Years back I picked up 7 or 8 gun games in a lot, and thinking on the left was one of them..
Maybe Bonanza (?).. Far left playfield maybe a Pitch & Bat, but don't recall the head..
Edit: Looked it up. Not the gun game. Bonanza's a 1970..

Quoted from Pin-Joe:The machine on the right is a 1963 Four-Player GAUCHO.
Could be. I was thinking Flying Circus, but tough to make out the playfield..
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Friends - 'The one with the flashback'
Sorry about the bad glare on the tv.

Daisey Duke, I'd show her the best 15 seconds of loving she ever had.

Looks like the playfield of an old wooden rail pin.
Not sure which pin though.

German movie "Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht - Die Drafi-Deutscher-Legende" from 1981
with Gottlieb"s STAR RACE in Berlin.
Later in the movie you can see a MATA HARI , if you look closely at the lower right side, in another location in Berlin.

Gottlieb Bronco.

Please excuse me, dear @girloveswaffles, it's not a BRONCO but the 2-Player-model MUSTANG.

I love checking this thread, and especially how someone posts an older game I’m not familiar with, I wonder “which game is that?”, and within minutes the answer appears
