Subject of question on the BBC panel show "QI"

Quoted from Timerider:

Subject of question on the BBC panel show "QI"

When i lived in the UK (Scotland) 2012-2013
i remember watching and enjoying this quiz show fondly,
but at that time Stephen Fry was the host.
It was always educational and informative and funny.
Not really a game show, as no one won money, as the contestants were all british celebs.
More of a comedy show than quiz show.

Married with Children
Season 9 episode 26 - "Radio Free Trumaine"

Funhouse can be seen in the background.

Found another one. "Hidden Potential; Season 1, Episode 13, 'California Cape Cod' ".

In the opening, going through the home one of the rooms has a Captain Fantastic, in the corner. It has the kids art covering part of the backglass, blocking more than half of the artwork. The game is on, it is viewable for less than 30 seconds, clearly a pin proudly owned standing in place, in a good size room.

Not sure if anyone caught American Pickers latest episode (S18|E126 Thirsty Thirsty Pickers), they picked Mickey Gilley and he had a nice Dracula as well as some EMs under some sheets in his shed. Who wants to go pick Gilley and try to buy his machines?

Quoted from SkyKing2301:

Mine had a great laugh at my horror of what happened in Captain Marvel...

The movie sucked and the game isn’t much to talk about either!

Quoted from yancy:

Munsters, BK3, Playboy, and others.

Who the hell are they?? Local band?? I’m usually not a critic of local music and the little guy, but that music video is about 20 years late to the era it’s trying to replicate and comes off as cheesy as hell.

I don't know, but I liked them better in the '80's when they were called the The Go-Go's.

Nasty Cherry. I'm sure they're local to somewhere. I love it, but to each his own.

What is this pin? It was in the background of a scene from "The Giant Spider Invasion" (1978) on tonight's Rifftrax. I can't find a higher res photo, but here is a capture from the original MST3K broadcast:

In the new SWAT TV show one of the officers has a Police Force in his home. lol.

He just got bummed because he was called to duty during multiball.

I am sure this has been shared before, but I am not going through 1600+ posts.

At any rate, I just bought a Pin*Bot, so I am sharing...

Married with Children
Season 7 Episode 11 - "Old College Try"

The Bundy's think the bank made an error in their favor and go on a 25K spending spree. Fireball pin in the background is one of the many expensive purchases they made. Turns out they spent Bud's 25k college tuition grant, lol.

I saw a pinball machine in a ski lodge on an old Mission Impossible.

The Crazies (2010): It's very fuzzy there in the background, but it looks like it might be a Pinball 2000?

Quoted from Jackontherocks:

Paul Newman is playing a game in the beginning of the movie “The Verdict”

It’s actually a 1978 Williams ‘Disco Fever’ that Paul is playing in the bar (while doing shots of whisky at 8 am) but the EM chimes are obviously piped in.

It's not a police force. It's either a highspeed or a getaway with custom backglass and cab.

#1625 5 years ago

I guess they didn’t have the rights to show the correct name of the ‘Disco Fever’ in The Verdict, So it read ‘Night Fever’.

I can't deliver pictures for this but I can tell everyone who is interested that Pinball-machines can be seen in these 2 american movies from 1979-1980.

In XANADU there is a scene where someone plays I think a Gottlieb Single-Player, then 'all of a sudden' the scenery changes to somewhat that is supposed to be a gigantic playfield. Gene Kelly kicks a giant Pop-Bumper and flowers burst out or something else.

In ROADIE there is a scene in a laundry-shop or a 7/11 where a ROYAL FLUSH and/or a FREEDOM can be seen.

It's 30 or more years since I saw these movies so please excuse me.
