I'll bet someone figures it out. Probably from the cabinet art.

This is a little “meta”....the other evening I was watching a cnn show on movies from the 80s and they showed Paul Newman playing pinball from the movie “ The Verdict”.

Dude on the cabinet looks like Guy Fawkes.

Here is a pic of the apron and lower playfield from when I posted a year ago - nobody every identified.

Didn't get pic. But on SWAT other night they changed back glass said POLICE. But you could tell had getaway playfield.

Travel Time or Summer Time.

You are correct. It's the same pin Kelso tries to make money off of the next season. Just went back to my previous post to see its the same.

Alright, super sleuths, here's a really tough one. X-Files season 1 episode 8, Ice. (Interestingly, episode 7 had a Gottlieb Totem that I noticed, which is already posted in this thread.) Granted, I wasn't eyes-on this episode 100%, as I was working on a pinball project at the same time. That being said, I didn't see this machine anywhere else during the episode except as described: At the climax of the episode when they are wrestling down one of the characters, a pinball machine can be seen blurred in the background. These are some of the best images I could get (SD picture off old DVD copy); perhaps someone can identify it? (Sorry about the pause button visible in some of them.)

You know, the more I sit here and look at it, re-watching the scene a couple of times, with my pin collection right here in the same room... I think this could be a Black Knight 2000!

For comparison, here's my BK2K from way across the room, filtered down a little to try to mimic the lighting in the episode.
Watching the scene a few times, it does look like the same type of two line display, and the top line is lit solid while the bottom line blinks -- just like it does on BK2K with "FREE PLAY PRESS START". In the scene, there also appears to be lights some below these two lines, which correlates to the RAMSOM lights, not all of which are lit on mine in this image. Also, there are red blobs visible in the scene, which could correlate to the pop bumpers on the upper playfield.
Quoted from pinwiztom:what about WMS Pharoah[quoted image]
No, couldn't be that one, since the display was definitely centered & below the artwork.

What say you all?

From earlier in the episode. I believe we have a winner.

Awesome!!! Thanks! As I'd mentioned in my post, I didn't have my eyes on the screen the entire time, so it was possible I'd missed it. Guess with all the time I spent re-watching that scene trying to figure it out, I could've just rewatched the darn thing, to see if it showed up earlier, lol.
So that was interesting, two episodes in a row of X-Files that had pinball machines. Also interesting, that I own both an X-Files and a BK2K, so this episode helped bring them together, haha.
Original Arthur movie they walk into an arcade and row of pins. He shouts out one if the games while someone playing did not get pic while in bed.

Alrighty, yet another tough one from X-Files, this one in Season 1, Episode 11, "Eve". Late in the episode they stop at a diner which has a handful of video games and two pinball machines. They're visible three separate times, but are tough to make out, especially the one on the right. The major clue for the one on the right is it has some sort of low white or yellow light bar flashing atop the backbox. What are these?
(That's three episodes of X-Files so far with pinballs in them -- S1 E7, 8, & 11)
20190731_230736 (resized).jpg20190731_231023 (resized).jpg20190731_231234 (resized).jpgNot sure if it's been mentioned yet but I recently watched one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, Porky's. There's a Buccaneer and another pin beside it in the whore house and what looks to be a nip it later in the flick.

Great job! At least with that one we had some of the cabinet to help. The other one ... our major clue is the yellow lights atop the backbox.

I had to really look over the pictures, but yes, it is.

Excellent job!!! That does appear to be correct!
I was watching the movie "Sideways" the other day and there is a scene in the bar area of their hotel (the Windmill Inn) where you can see a Gilligan's Island behind them. I pointed it out to my wife and called it, but she didn't believe me at first (it was a little blurry). I then went and grabbed my copy of the Pinball Compendium and showed her the backglass for comparison. I'm not sure if she was impressed or dismayed.
I think there is another pin as well but it was hard to make out as the background was out of focus.

Pretty much every day of this hobby...
Quoted from Pinslot:My missus rolls her eyes when I call out pins in films or TV shows.
Mine had a great laugh at my horror of what happened in Captain Marvel...
Quoted from bssbllr:These were in the background of Celebrity Wife Swap (they came up with the name) lol. The episode with Rick Flare and Roddy Piper, they were in the background of Roddys house. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas of witch games they are?
