Thanks, I got tired of all the work trying to find it on my phone. (Fat fingers!)

That side art face the other kid was blocking would have been pretty recognizable, so I have to wonder if that and the boxes were deliberate to avoid licensing issues, even on this old a game.

Some dude on TPIR rocking a photoshopped price is right pinball on his shirt. Let's see if he gets up there.
EDIT: Won his game...nice
Edit: I think he just gave a shout out to Trent

If it's who I think it is, he was at MGC. Small world.

Watching a show called 'The Liquidator' about a business owner in Vancouver, Canada.

Ended up seeing a TFTC in the background. There was another pin next to it but its half covered up and I can't quite make out what it is.

I'd love to check out his store sometime.

Big Bang Theory: The Comet Polarization, a Woodrail, Genco Rocket in the background at the comic book store. That's an obscure one to show in the background...

'The Liquidator' show again. 2 pins in the background. One is a DE Simpsons, not sure what the one on the left is.

Just noticed the dude is in almost the exact same pose as the previous pic. Lol

Where does this "Liquidator" have his shop... He seems to be liquidating a lot of pins

Probably a Sing Along. Might be a Melody.

#1066 5 years ago

That's the Sing Along, now on the other side of the STTNG, next to the Moulin Rouge.

Quoted from setzkor:

Store is called Direct Liquidation. Located in Burnaby, BC Canada

Show ran from about 2013 to 2016. In just about every episode you see some pins in the background. One episode had John from John's jukes buying a Haunted House.

#1068 5 years ago

Wow! I hadn't noticed the pins in Animal House before. Looks like there are four machines. The first is obscured (by three guys apparently playing cards on it?!), but the others are King Of Diamonds (1967), 4 Star (1958) and Three Deuces (1955). Oops... they have a 1967 machine, but it's supposed to be 1962 in the movie.

The band Red Fang has a music video where they smash a bunch of things with a car. I guess this could also go in the pinball horror pics thread.

Episode 5 of The Get Down had a Bally Fireball. So proud of the producers for matching the pin to the historical period. Also this show is amazing and I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Or did he buy one of those and the Scared Stiff in the middle? That'd be a screaming deal at $3400!

For those who watch HGTV and Property Brothers, the brothers are working on their own house in Vegas. Just saw the episode where they were working on the game room along with other fun features. Put in a nice pool table, MAME type arcade machine, and an Avengers pin. They never mention the pin, but spend time on the arcade and pool table.

In Parks & Recreation, Season 4 Episode 13 ("Bowling for Votes"), there is a NASCAR in the background.

Note:
- In an early shots, it almost looks like it's been re-themed to be called 'Red Zone'. It's deceiving; turns out you're looking through the glass of a prize machine called 'Red Zone' that's sitting next to it. See the first two images below.

I think he got a playboy and scared stiff. He had the scared stiff at his store in a next episode.

Too bad he is an asshole in person and hates hockey, along with other things I will not mention. Met him and waited on him several times.

No capture since it’s not out for rental/purchase yet but Ready Player One has a nice looking RFM in the closing scene I’m suprised nobody mentioned yet.

Season 5, Episode 12 of Bar Rescue. LW3, and looks like there was one behind it but couldn’t make it out.

There's a lot of fun things in that last shot, full size Robbie the robot, Taito Space Invaders, Robotron and of course that nice looking RFM.

I'm pretty sure that Dale Jr is part of that set. Another tv show filmed there had that machine too. I can't remember the show, it was a few years ago.

The Women in his Life. 1933. First use of a pinball game in a movie.

Okay, I can't make out where there's a Taito space invaders in that picture, but in the lower right corner is a Williams Joust video game cocktail table.

I was watching Never Say Never Again. The film was made somewhere around 1982. Sean Connery and Kim Bassinger were in an arcade. She was just about to play Gravitar when Bond started chatting with her. I didn't see any pins but there were lots of video games in the arcade.
