Holy nostalgia...I thought that movie was great back in the day.
Not sure if this has been said yet. In stranger things 2, there is a Firepower in the arcade. Really fits the 80s theme of the show.

Full credit for watching Golden Girls looking for pins. Now that's taking one for the team!
Quoted from chippe01:Caught this on The Golden Girls this morning. Can’t make out the game though.
That's a Delta Queen pin.
Quoted from janus:There is a black hole in the cafeteria of the elsinore brewery in strange brew
There's also a Superman right next to it (under something draped over it).
Not exactly sure if this counts either but you can see one in this Progressive commerical. Can’t make out the title

Been brought up many times. There is a "search on thread" tool above.
Quoted from setzkor:Latest episode of Flash...Gamatron, Meteor and Flight 2000
Gamatron & F2k...a little overkill eh?

Yep someone wanted some early Stern's and didn't care if they were the same... Or even Stern's

A custom Black Knight 2000 called Knights Lair.
Life on Mars (USA version). Season 1, episode 7 has a Revenge From Mars.
The title is definitely foreshadowing what's going on in the episode, that's why they chose it I guess.
The show is about a cop who goes into a coma in 2008 and wakes up in 1973. Part of the show is him trying to figure out if he's having a lucid dream of the past, from his coma in 2008, or if it's really 1973 and he's having a breakdown and imagining he's from the future. In 1973, he sees a lot of anachronistic things from the future that give him resolve in his search for the truth. In this episode he happens to see himself as a 4 year old kid, playing the RFM. I thought hey, there's another thing that he recognizes from the future, good for them! But no, it wasn't supposed to be a link to the future, someone just dropped the ball and put a pinball from the year 2000 onto the set as belonging to 1973. :p
I liked that show.
A pinball in a commercial for Tic Tac Gum but not a real pinball but plays like one.
Quoted from Grayman_EM:I liked that show.
Yeah, is pretty good. I liked the British one like ten years ago, though it never really felt closed at the ending. Hoping they tie it up more neatly in the USA version.
Weather channel has a "Twister" machine - just saw it about a week ago on one of their storm forecasts.
Quoted from setzkor:Latest episode of Flash...Gamatron, Meteor and Flight 2000
Just watched it and totally missed that. Maybe I should just start binge watching Golden Girls.
In case you missed it, there is a thread about the Tic Tac commercial.

Some closeups of Metallica Pro backglass at the beginning of Metallica: Masters of Metal currently showing on AXS tv. Pretty lame show otherwise, a boring rehash of what has already been told many times before. The older Behind The Music is far better.
Watched Lone Wolf McQuade with Chuck Norris last night (don't ask me why). There was a Rapid Fire and another pin in the room of the evil midget in a wheelchair (I can't make this stuff up). I couldn't make out what the other pin was, but looked like a 70's early 80's solid state.
Quoted from Crile1:don't ask me why
No need to ask. It's Chuck Norris.

Another Star Trek pro on Price is right today. Tween episode so they're starting them young.... Now that JT is gone.

Ouch, too soon! (Is probably not a phrase he would have used)
Not the game itself, but in season 3 episode 5 of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Stranded in space) at the beginning of the episode, Joel is using Crow and servo for a shooting gallery. When Joel is explaing this to the T.V. audience, crow says (in a mock robotic voice) "Quit talking and start chalking" (happens at about a minute and thirty eight seconds):

And this weekend at WonderCon the Third episode of season two of Timeless was shown. The protagonists operations are now taking place in an old warehouse or factory. near the end of the episode they show a scene in what apparently is a lunchroom in the background I believe I saw a quick shot of an old pin in the background. I'll have to look for it again when the episode airs.
... and here it is:
Can anyone identify it?
Quoted from girloveswaffles:I saw a quick shot of an old pin in the background
It looks like a prop. No EMs had full lighting from the backglass. The cabinet looks like it is pink, and has that brown earth colour rubbed onto it, to reduce the colour saturation or glare, while filming/taping.
This would be the 3rd pinball machine that has been used in 'Timeless'.
Quoted from AJB4:In the background at Bob's Country Bunker in the Blues Brothers.
The one in the middle is a Bally Monte Carlo, and the one on the right is a Williams Blue Chip.
The one on the left? can't quite tell but it looks to be a Gottlieb single player E.M.

Gtb. 4 Square on the left.
Quoted from Jtm3:Final scene of movie Ready Player One, a RFM in the background.
Yep, spotted it last night. Admittedly I spent most of my time mentally ticking off 80's pop culture references in the background rather than actually following the movie plot. I think the best was the reelect Mayor Goldie Wilson poster on the wall which was shown for all of 2 seconds in the background of a scene.
Also a row of dedicated arcade cabinets (PONG, Galaga, Centipede etc) in the archives scene and a generic tabletop about halfway through.

No wonder I did not notice that pitch and bat.
