Quoted from bonzo442:Didn't have time to read this whole thread so not sure if anyone's mentioned this before but in the Steven Segal movie "Out for justice" when he's in the basement after hours club asking "Anybody know why Ritchie did Bobby Lupo?' There is an EBD 81 version in the place.
I had time (20 seconds) to SEARCH the thread and it was indeed mentioned 3 years ago. Don't feel bad, it was mentioned again just a week after that! And you did add the version info, that's cool.
Quoted from TheLaw:Goldbergs last night had King Rock & something else
Quoted from TopMoose:I noticed that on The Goldbergs too - I think it was a 1972 Gottlieb World Series.
A lot of that episode was set in a 1980's-era arcade, so I was hoping to see more.
Back to the arcade in this weeks episode, Adam gets a job there, with the same 2 games plus another
Quoted from o-din:A guy gets executed while playing a 4 Square
Sounds like "the way" to go
Unrelated news clip count? helps it is a WOZ @ 50 second mark

Looks like a Gottlieb Domino.
I was watching the movie Deep Red (1975) and a Jungle Life makes an appearance for about one second in a cafe scene.
Quoted from Otaku:Sounds like "the way" to go
I remember watching it when it first aired. I watched all the Kolchaks as it was the best show on at the time. Chris Carter said X-files was directly influenced by Kolchak.
Instead of trying to hide the identity of the pinball machine like you see in so may shows, when Kolchak inquired where the guy got shot, the op said right here he was playing this 4 Square and had the high score on it.

Night Stalker was indeed one of the better shows at that time. Some Episodes have that real 70's vibe which sometimes doesn't hold up. Most shows used more generic scenery and costumes. The yellow 1966 Mustang Convertible, even though it was just a 6 cylinder, adds some flair to the show.
X-Files did have a cross over Episode, Darrin McGavin was not in it. Charles Nelson Riley played a Kolchak kind of character. A few times in the Series Mulder mentions Kolchak.

Did you not see this episode? Darren played the guy who was part of the original X-files.

Must of had an oops! moment, Thanks for clearing this up. Now I have to the watch the 3 episodes.
Just clarify:
Charles Nelson Riley, was one Episode, 'Jose Chung 1996', an excellent episode, but nothing to do with Night Stalker.
Darren McGavin was on 2 episodes, both as Arthur Dales. 'Travellers 1996' and 'Agua Mala 1999'.
And I'll keep watching Kolchak re-runs on MeTV until they stop showing them again. Fast forward to 36:15 if you want to see that 4-Square in all it's glory.
I've been watching Twin Peaks in anticipation of the new new series coming up on showtime. After seeing two machines in the background at the roadhouse I did a little research. http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/trivia/twin-peaks-pinball-machines/
Quoted from BMHouze:There's one in the early scenes of Dodgeball at the Average Joes' gym Cyclone?
Re-watched Dodgeball last night. It's still funny.
The game in Peter's office at Average Joes is a Meteor.
Rapid Fire (1992)

Now there's a game show I'd like to see make a comeback.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Now there's a game show I'd like to see make a comeback.
Gotta think it's one of my fav all timers right there. I remembered how good it was, but forgot how 80s it is.
I try to explain to people hows 80s WOF was when you have to use your monies to buy prizes after each round, but that's nothing compared to this. They had a gold plated dumbbell set...just fantastic.
Quoted from TheLaw:I remembered how good it was, but forgot how 80s it is.
I thought it was more "70s" myself.
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Does anyone recognize this game, as seen in the recent music video by Pierce The Veil of their new single, Floral Fading?
Stern Galaxy, 1980.

That same Galaxy has shown up in several shows (and pictures of it are thruout this topic).
Forceflow posted a picture of it in an episode of Agents of Sheild a while back (post #461) and Darkwizard posted a picture of it in an episode of Criminal Minds (post # 216).
Quoted from jibmums:Nitro Ground Shaker visible for about two seconds in 2005's War of the Worlds.
Good spotting. I've seen that movie a dozen times and never noticed.

Interesting, and I guess I never read through this thread, I just post after doing a search to avoid sighting dupes.
Must be owned by a prop shop, ready to go with no licensing issues! Might be fun to hunt it down, find out who owns it and what it makes, maybe get a selfie with it. It's a celebrity!
Not a real pin, but this from a 2011 episode of Robot Chicken:

... Unfortunatly, if you know what this character is you know what he's about to do ...

Would be awesome if it were Bride of Pinbot.
In this week's Modern Family there was a row of modern pins at the bowling alley. They were hard to make out, but I think one was a Mustang.

Yeah walked in the room when that was on too... More than a few in that one
Quoted from Jackontherocks:Watching the movie Grown Ups and there are two pins in the quick arcade scence after restaurant in cabin I believe.
Hyperball and Black Knight, bit late and probably answered before.
Quoted from pinsanity:Hoges the telemovie (Paul Hogan biography shown on Australian tv the other week)
A 1990's era machine in a scene set in the late 1970's.
Props to the prop master.
Still GI is the best game ever! just ask me.
In Strange Invaders at a diner, a Pinball machine can be heard, and an old wood rail can be partially seen by a doorway for a couple of seconds. (couldn't identify it though).
Here is a new one. Bobs Burgers 'Like Gene for Chocolate'. 2 cartoon pins in the office where Gene meets the grandson of the chocolate factory, founder. Grand son is playing one of them. One pin name is Rockstar, the other BACCARAY?

You sure that didn't say BARRACORA?

You beat me to it! Great episode!
Quoted from jibmums:You sure that didn't say BARRACORA?
Possibly, couldn't read it fast enough. Will be able to find out precisely when the episode is put onto the Networks Website.
In the scene where the guy is playing, the movement of the flippers and ball were in view. Not static. Some one on the show committed that pinball part on purpose. Cool!
