This topic may have been started in the past but let's go after it again. I am watching Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and just noticed a pinball game in Lex Luther's room in the background about half way through the movie. Could not tell but maybe Firepower? Another one recently is the commercial for Pizza Hut talking about a man cave where there are two games in the distance background. Not sure which one maybe Dr. Earnhart Jr. or Nascar.

Lost when they go into the future.

I've got to find this. Are you talking the flash forwards or the sideways flashes? I'm a bit of a Lostie and never noticed a pin before.

Edit: Pics aren't linking, added link if anyone cares to see actual LOST props.

In the latest War of the Worlds flick I saw what may be part of a Captain Fantastic cabinet in the home where Tom Cruises character lived. He also drove a '68 Mustang Fastback. What a Maverick

#15 11 years ago

Star Trek in Pawn Stars, Les's office.

#16 11 years ago

No flash first capture in the game room. When they flash back the RFM is replaced with a Cyclone I think. Then at one point they are sitting next to each other.

There was a Nip-It in Arnold's on Happy Days.
On House M.D., house had a some Bingo or pinball play-field resting on a dresser in his apartment.

Heat Wave in the background of "The Thing"
Space Station in the background of "Big Daddy" in Sunny's apartment
There are quite a few in the movie "Adventure Land" most EMS, I remember Gorgar was in it though.

Those are the only two that I can think of at the moment...

There's a pinbot in entourage first seadn , another next to it?

Role models, the kiss machine makes a pretty big appearance.

Walking dead, a wpt, maybe another?

Just saw in rookie of the year ( in passing, I swear) they ask some women at a club to get out of the way so they can play rollergames, kind of a funny scene.

#22 11 years ago

There was a Fire in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. There was a recent episode of the Mentalist that had a BK2K and a Diner.

#23 11 years ago

I've seen an adult-oriented movie, acted out on an F-14.

Not sure how to post that without being creepy, so there it is.

#24 11 years ago

Dan Patrick Show has a Dale Jr and NBA (Stern) in the background. See the commercials all the time on FS Wisconsin during Brewer games.

#25 11 years ago

In the 1991 film "The Hard Way" starring MJ Fox and J Woods, Fox's character Nick Lang has a lineup in his mansion. Someone help me out with the other titles , but one is Miami Heat if I recall correctly.

#26 11 years ago

On an Atlanta Braves special, Tim Hudson gives a tour of his home. He has a Big Buck Hunter in his game room.

I know there is a few in the old comedy movie "Loverboy" where Mean Gean gets mad at him for messy around with his girlfriend. Also in Jennifer's Body staring Megan Fox I believe during the bar scene where there watching the band her friend is playing the game Fire in the background.

#29 11 years ago

In Major League 2 Ricky Vaughn (Charlie Sheen) has a Judge Dredd in his apartment.

#30 11 years ago

Dazed and Confused! It's a great movie about nothing with an awesome soundtrack. Kwiki posted the "Emporium" scene in another thread showing a ton of 70's EMs being played. Classic!

There are a couple in the bar on My Name is Earl, not sure what the titles were.

The pin furthest back looks to me like "Pinball", by Stern Electronics, Inc., 1977, {their 1st Solid State machine, but a certain lesser amount of e-m type were also made for this model}.

#43 11 years ago

A favorite topic of mine!

Plenty of movies have pins in the background - Here is a list from pingeek, he has been building a list for years.

I have been searching for clips when they are actually part of the scene or where the characters interact with them. (ahem... Wicked City)

Besides, it's more fun that way - shows pins in culture, not just set dressing.

Here are some that I have posted earlier. I also try to find movies that folks may have not seen before. Check out that pinball arcade in The Final Programme!

My Centigrade 37 was a warehouse find in Hollywood. It was used in the back of the bar set for the tv series Pensacola: Wings of Gold. The series ran for 3-4 years, ending in 2000.

Tried to watch a few of the episodes on youtube to catch a glimpse of it, but alas, after a few trys and only seeing it for a second or two, the poor acting drove me away.
