We have all see Pinballs in films and for me when this happens it just really ads to the movie

Here is a frame from What Women Want

IMG_0859.PNGIMG_0859.PNG

Also I remember Ghostbusters one of the best films ever and what does in have in a frame PINBALL

Any movies you can think of and what Pinball did you see in it if you unable to provide a picture?

#2 12 years ago

Obviously, "The Accused" is the first film that springs to mind. A rather pivotal (and shocking) scene takes place on a pinball machine.

#3 12 years ago

a great film and good pinball shot is "dazed and confused" at the emporium. one of the best slow motion walk in shots on film. hurricane by bob dylan playing, pinball pinging, 1976 good time for pinball. see it with some buds

#4 12 years ago

thats the scene i was thinking of you can see the pins against the wall but i think there is another part with a close up of game play. great movie anyways

#5 12 years ago

+1 mickthepin. One of my favorite movies about nothing ever made. The cars, the music, the fashion, the props/pins, Linklater nailed the whole era perfectly.

I watched Major League II yesterday, and Charlie Sheen's character has two pins in his apartment. One is Judge Dredd, and I couldn't make out what the other was

Here it is No idea on machine anyone know?

Looks like a Star gazer to me.

It's also nice to spot machines in recent films, because they rarely appear. In 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop' there's a Viper Night Driving and a Hyperball. Two of the most random machines to see side by side.

Sorry about picture quality.

Music video for Sugar Ray's "RPM" - Cowboy playing a Delta Queen I think. Their album cover was also a backglass for "Floored". (not film I know, but close.)

I'm sure everyone has seen the KISS machine in "Role Models"

#13 12 years ago

I've been re-watching seasons of MASH and noticed the pinball machine in the "Officers" club. I was able to pause and find out what it was. Anyone else know ?

#14 12 years ago

in the Ritchie Rich movie, this Pin comes out, I think there were only two made. They costume made Tommy the Who's to make this Pin

This just goes to show why it costs so much money to make a Hollywood movie. Think about how much time and energy went into that Ritchie Rich pin, which was probably only used in one brief scene.

#16 12 years ago

bad santa has a funny pinball scene

#17 12 years ago

In Rocky two or three Pauly rolls through and arcade and destroys a Rocky pin.

#18 12 years ago

Tv show lost had pins in the darma building (rfm)

#20 12 years ago

Casino Royale.^^^^^

I know there were some pinball machines in one of the episodes of "The Walking Dead". There are also a couple of pins in the grocery store in the show "Raising Hope". And then, of course, there is the famous scene in "Rumble in the Bronx" where several pins get trashed ...

I will go to hell for posting this but if you want to see a twisted take on that infamous scene, go to youtube and search "pinball lightnin" (without the G).

Do not do this unless you are a fan of dark humor.

I laughed my a** off but when I posted it on KLOV it got such a negative reaction the post was eventually deleted.

I think I posted this in the History thread, but here's the link again.

The Atomic Pinball Cafe. It's around 95 pinball-related videos on youtube I've cataloged over the last year. There's movie stuff, music videos, oddities, historical, etc. Over 5 hours of free flipping fun.

Didn't they have a pinball machine in the hallway of the house in Beverly Hills 90210?

The story line of the 70's flick Pick-up Summer is to an extend based on pinball rivary.

Tilt is of course a down right pinball movie.

#25 12 years ago

Here are a couple of famous ones:

In the Richard Pryor movie The Toy_, the kid that has everything has a Haunted House pin in his room.

In Rocky 5, a kid is playing a Rocky pin in the background at one point.

#26 12 years ago

Closer look at Dazed Pins.

#27 12 years ago

X:Men First Class has a pin. And I know it's a show, but "Pay the Lady" episode of Storage Wars had a Bally Black Pyramid.

Fast Times has an arcade scene with some pins in it.

#30 12 years ago

Paul Newman in 'The Verdict.' But I don't know what pinball he was playing.

#31 12 years ago

Also maximun overdrive has a couple in the gas station if i remember correctly.

#32 12 years ago

Remembered another one: in the movie Natural Born Killers, in the first murder spree, the one guy they leave alive is pushed up against a Williams Whirlwind when they tell him they're leaving him alive to spread their fame. The guy in question makes the credits as 'Pinball Cowboy'.

#36 12 years ago

BIG

Arthur (space invaders pinball in the scene when he goes into the arcade, can't find a clip)

Little monsters

#t=386s

#37 12 years ago

Pretty sure in Superman 3 (the one where he loses his powers) someone is smashed onto a pin.
Beerfest one of the germans smashes a pin, and eats the ball, deleted scene he blows a bubble with the metal ball.
Convoy at the diner when Kris Kristofferson is off enjoying his bday.

#38 12 years ago

There was a French Connection pinball in the Percy Jackson film. The movie was totally forgettable, but I do remember that pin in one scene.

that movie has one of the greatest car chases in history, if you're into that kinda thing.

The French Connection was a GREAT film! And truly one of the best car chases I've seen since the Blues Brothers. Percy Jackson...had a cool pinball in it, and that's all. It must have been custom built for the film.

#41 12 years ago

The movie Dodge Ball has a pin but I have never been able to identify it

#42 12 years ago

In John Carpenter's The Thing, they have a Heat Wave EM in their bunker.
Awesome movie btw.

I seem to remember Jackie Chan fighting around some machines in Rumble In The Bronx.

#43 12 years ago

Rumble in the bronx:

#44 12 years ago

Adam Sandler's Big Daddy has a Space Station in several apartment scenes, and on the Dan Patrick show 2 Sterns sit in the background. (NASCAR and NBA)

I agree. That movie used to totally freak me out, particularly the scene where they were testing everyone's blood. I wonder if the remake (technically a remake of a remake) will be any good.

The TOTALLY ABYSMAL B-movie "Laserblast" has a scene where a machine gets blown up with a lasergun for no apparant reason. I forget which machine it is

#47 12 years ago

Love actually had a pinball in the milwaukee bar , it was a corvette

Awful movie, but has anyone seen the Mystery Science Theater 3000 review for Laserblast?

#49 12 years ago
Quoted from kwiKimart:

I was wondering how I had seen Laserblast. Its on my level of sleaze, but I couldn't put my finger on where I had seen it.

Unfortunately, I can't remember which pin it was either. Considering the budget, it was probably Carboard Box: the pinball machine.
