My cousin's (KingNine, Arcade, & PMoncla) and I started a local Pinball Group earlier this year in our area. We cover the Gulf Coast in SE Texas and SW Louisiana, and include members from Houston, Dallas, and Austin as well. We've rapidly grown to over 100 members in about 7 months! Today, the Beaumont Enterprise did a story about our group, and how we are trying to bring pinball in our area back to the forefront. We even mentioned Pinside.com in our story, and we made the front page! Here's a couple photos from today's paper. We'd like to invite any of you that would love to join in our mission. https://www.facebook.com/groups/GulfCoastPinballClub/

    Quoted from Aurich:

I approve of the photo of that Star Trek machine.

I bet you do! Lol Looks great, man!

As my cousin, Dennis, stated in our FB group - the reporter "mixed up a fact or two but we were all speaking so fast I'm amazed he got what he got lol." To the casual reader, though, it's good publicity for our hobby. Since the article ran this morning, we've already gained over 10 new members. One local man just surfaced his 1968 Williams Pit Stop that he has sitting around that isn't working. We're going to pull together and help him save it. The way I see it, that's one less pin making it's way into someone's burn pile.

Yeah, it looks like a neat pin. I don't think I've ever played one before. From his photo he posted, the BG and PF look good, but the cabinet has seen better days. I'm anxious to see it in person.
