In France, we also have specialists of the "system D" with the imagination overflowing. One day, Danny60 a friend of mine, found a pinball machine with this beautiful DIY. Can't resist to share his pictures.
With this, no risk of electrical problems and fuses never blow

Definitely one of the "Top 5 Escape Artist" as stated on the door of this Gottlieb Big House
Quoted from cottonm4:How are you to termite proof that buggy cabinet?
Yes, it looks like a termite attack. In this case the wood becomes very friable and leaves in tatters. The traces of sawdust in the form of small balls are no doubt.
On the other hand, for this poor TX-SECTOR, I doubt very much that this is the work of termites:

Quoted from Pinballer22:Not terrible but who designs a set up like this! Not connector to separate easy. Damn it was dirty though.

Quoted from girloveswaffles:I didn't notice until now, but take a good look at the left flipper coil:
Strange indeed : the connected wires, while it was easy to weld them two centimeters away.
I also see an EOS switch, while the coil is a model with a single winding, it must not be the right one
