From experience - those are mouse nests. Underneath, there will be areas planked and discolored from urine. Cleaning, several days in the sun, and clean again will usually get rid of the smell, but not the stain.
Unless the OP is spoofing us, he bought the machine somewhere near Schagan, so I doubt "outing them" will cause them many problems stateside. Still sucks for the OP, though. Goes back to what lots of folks are saying about seeing the machine first.
You would have to go by smell - for those who haven't smelled the smoke that exits coils and wires, they would have to set up a test to learn the scent!
Does Disney even own the pins or are they owned by a contractor? I thought I read somewhere all video games and pinball machines were contracts.
So basically Disney puts up with a sub par contractor who doesn't care about their games as long as $$ keep coming in. One would think that Disney would care, maybe that was the Disney of old.
