Quoted from hlaj78:

You have to be high for that to make sense

Now I get it.

Quoted from Electronmagic:

Sad Blackout. This had to be more than just mice. The wood cross braces are gnawed away. Badger? Raccoon? Tasmanian Devil?
At least it didn't get into the head.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Outside edge just announced that blackout is their next hardtop, possible candidate?

Quoted from Tuukka:

Someone sure got tired of backbox breakins
In the 70s that was a real problem at our local arcade. Some morons found out that they could pry the backbox door slightly open, and then by poking a bicycle spoke inside, add credits by pushing the credit reel.
We installed alarms triggered by a micro switch when backbox door was out of place.

Damn hippies

Quoted from vec-tor:

Like how a horror movie begins... a precursor to what lies ahead.
[quoted image]
More to come.

Hey, termites have to eat too. Love the tease.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Just a tragedy...
And it’s outside
[quoted image]

Can't say I blame them, you wouldn't want a turd like that stinking up the inside of your house would you

The darker the room, the better it looks.

Went into storage in pristine condition... 15 years later, not so much. It's in a better place now.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Sad! I assume it must not have been climate controlled

Yeah... Five of those years in the back of a school bus parked in Florida, not the most ideal conditions. True, it's sad ,however it has gotten new lease on life in the last year. All's well.

Quoted from pinball_ric:

I'm just curious. Did you use any sort of mold release when doing it? Never done molding myself so not sure if that would also damage the plastic (assuming you didn't use it).

Original Pam cooking spray works wonders as a mold release for all types of mediums

Nope there's nothing that could go wrong there. I could use that Mars God of War head, wonder what direction he's headed?

Fuses are for pussies!
Once had a guy at my small town hardware store tell me I could use a piece of chewing gum since he didn't have the right size fuse available. Thought he was crazy, but it worked.

#3973 2 years ago
Quoted from pinballslave:

With the foil wrapper on or off?

Foil removed and chewed up, that way you can shape a wad into a fuse shape, don't want to be a hack. Keep in mind this was 25 years ago on a space shuttle machine. You probably wouldn't want to do this with one of the precious snowflakes that we play with today. I still have the space shuttle and before you ask, yes it's properly fused.

Quoted from ThatOneDude:

Don't transport a game with the head up in the back of a truck.
(Neither I nor the pinsider who gave me this were responsible for this mess)
[quoted image]

They say re-entry is the worst. Sad day for shuttle fans everywhere.

Love it, when roached batteries are the least of your problems.

Quoted from gdonovan:

Williams did eventually add fuses to the bridges, ironically "FIRE" was the first game with them.

That's a fun fact and a fun game.

Vintage look
[quoted image]

Why would someone do this to a pinball machine you ask... Well, because there weren't enough remnants left over to do the pool table.

Quoted from cottonm4:

shaft is undersized which would make it hard to get tight? All it would take is .001/.002 undersize on the shaft and you have problems.

That's what she said!

Quoted from cottonm4:

Who would the "she" be? Your girlfriend? Or your wife?

Bazinga! Sorry just couldn't help myself, I'm a 13-year-old trapped in the body of a 57 year old man.
