Quoted from Vincenzo:

Seen near my place. Never paid atention to these strange windows until I walk closer!
[quoted image]

Someone needs to go there with about 6 cans of Krylon Tripple Thick.

Is that a recent pic? I would bring that one back.

Sad Blackout. This had to be more than just mice. The wood cross braces are gnawed away. Badger? Raccoon? Tasmanian Devil?
At least it didn't get into the head.

Quoted from Apinjunkie:

Outside edge just announced that blackout is their next hardtop, possible candidate?

Boy, I don't know. I'd love to save it, but it would need a complete wiring harness... and a hard bottom. The bottom is sagging from wolverine urine. I couldn't even keep it in my garage it smelled so bad. Had to move it to the shed.

Neglected Fathom ...

The whole front coin door area can be re-formed with bondo. I seen something like it on a '73 malibu.

Quoted from Hammer3246:

As long as they're tight I can't see them moving much, just looks bad.

That's how heads get cracked.

This one has reached "The End of the Line"

But seriously, would have expected much worse after 6 years. It's got the rare brown snake mod going for it. Someone could still save it.

Quoted from gac:

Judging by the condition of the side rails on the Street Fighter, these may have been headed to the dump, not home.

Or they came from the dump.

How is that backglass not roached?

Quoted from obxamuse:

Just started today picking up pins that had been stored about 10 years in shipping containers. I’ll be looking for some cabinets if anyone knows of some for sale. There was a few nice ones stored in sheds so I didn’t show them.

That's why they invented the GFI outlet.

Quoted from sevenrites:

Jurassic Park with a 69 Daytona Charger and a 70 Superbird came to rest together outside a home after Hurricane Ian.
[quoted image]

Damn. The cars are more upsetting in this one. I'd try to restore all 3... If I could find the head for the jp

Quoted from RyanStl:

Aren't those two games prone to fires? Glad everything was OK and the pins were not the cause.

Early system 11 games were prone to fires because williams didn't fuse the bridge rectifiers, but it's an easy fix and most of them have had fuses added over the years. I've never heard of any issues with system80s.

Quoted from PinballGalore:

I’ve had this IJ for a year. It was time to get it prepped up for rad cals which are on their way. found a small living jungle. This one is taken care of, question is if any skipped over to any of the other games

Termites or carpenter ants?

Quoted from ThatOneDude:

Ouch
[quoted image]

That's quite the dichotomy of artwork - happy girl in a bikini on the slingshot and then a bunch of skulls on the playfield. What game is that?

Quoted from TheCnyPinGuy:

Pop bumper Coil
I had to fully destroy it to remove it from the plunger
[quoted image][quoted image]

How do you get those pinballs to stay in the gumball machine? I've tried two separate times with different machines and the pinballs broke the glass both times.

Quoted from jibmums:

What the hell happened to it?

It got away.

#4925 8 months ago

A few years back I restored a machine that had been in a fire and was in the same shape as the demo man. Turned out good. Had to replace the translight, paint was bubbled on the top of the head. Afterwords when you opened the coin door there was still a hint of smoke smell but otherwise it was fine.

That demo man is desirable. Maybe the Jurassic Park too.

Quoted from Knxwledge:

Chopped up pieces of a Medieval Madness inside a conversion Fast n Furious Supercars
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Game manufacturers did this from time to time with blemished cabinets or extras. The good news is it almost certainly wasn't a complete game that was chopped up, just an empty cabinet.

I'm not even sure what we're looking at. Is that a spray painted nest of cotton?

Quoted from ant_:

tomdrum I’ve got a Ro Go that’s missing it’s backglass. If you end up parting this out and your glass is salvageable, please let me know.

Where are you located? I have a fair RoGo backglass but wouldn't want to ship.

That has to be the stupidest idea for a re-theme ever. I'd rather have a game called Pork Chop, or coffee mug. And that's not even pollen, it's a dust mite.

Quoted from mtn-:

Why would you do that? Because you got free cinder blocks or what they are called? And cant afford rubber feet?

That's a set up so you can tilt the guy playing on the machine next to you.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

I have no words...
[quoted image]

Just need a dinosaur, one of the pac man ghosts and a couple of hot wheels to complete the look.
