Quoted from pacmanretro:Custom mod for under 10 bucks!
Nah, that's more than $10: two cans of yellow, one red, one green, roll of masking tape (which they get bonus points for using).....

...and this one is the reason why people need to post shooter lanes in the For Sale ads
This TAF just showed up on a Pinball for sale thread on Facebook:
"Adam's family
Seller states. Ball won't kick up, tried to do a repair and think a fuse went bad, used aluminum tape on the ball track and that worked for a while then it burned up. Can be seen in photos. Playfield rubbers etc very poorly kept. No further testing was done. Also, power switch has been disabled/removed from bottom of machine."

Jeez....I mean I sorta understand 30 years ago or so before the home market boomed that operators would, once a machine wasn't making anymore money, throw that machine out, but for the last 20 years or so (basically the start of ebay) there has been a strong secondary market for selling used pins. You would think that this Whitewater would have fell into that category and would have been sold. This is just throwing money away.....
Then again, you see the same thing in cars/motorcycles/ etc. where someone would rather have it rot away then sell it while it's still worth something. I never understood that kind of thinking.
Quoted from kcZ:Isn't that the JJPOTC that you have for sale?
Yep.....luckily only a couple of small scratches to the playfield, apron, and slingshots.....could have been a LOT worse!
The potential buyer is fully aware, and we will discuss it more once I get the replacement glass.
Quoted from LesManley:The bell has tolled for this Metallica.
Here's the story on this one...
"We all know that our pins belong indoors.....except for this owner
Here’s what happens to a game left outdoors for 6 years, and in one of harshest countries in the world when it comes to extreme heat.
Six. Years. 688 total plays. Game still boots but sadly that’s where it ends for this machine."

No saving this one.....look at all those playfield dimples and pooled posts...typical Stern QC!!!
