Makes sense. You need a huge center post on a game as deep and impossibly difficult as LW3.

What happened to her pants

Yikes.
Quoted from Pinkitten:What happened to her pants
She wont need pants where she is going.
Great idea! Terrible execution!

Torpedo Alley owners dont talk about it.

Wait till you find out the story of the Captain’s pants!

There is more!
This is from the same ad. Note that they spraypainted the chrome speaker panels white.
As to "where did her pants go"... I had a Torpdeo Alley for 6 months (great game!). It was perhaps the horniest game I've ever owned. What is interesting on the pants thing as that they airbrushed the pants onto the captain on the translite. Something about the darker pants being "too revealing". If you look closely the pants here are white... those are airbrushed onto the Captain. Also... the trim here.

Got there an hour early to be the first one there!
They open the doors and tell me that someone came the night before and bought them.
D'oh!

Dicks!
Quoted from rollinover:What did they go for? Bummer
Don't know, but didn't ask as I didn't want to screw over someone else's deal.
Quoted from porkcarrot:I’m not even sure what problem they were solving here.

I know where that came from…I didn’t even notice it when I was taking the pics. Sorry bro.
Quoted from ryanbrooks:I know where that came from…I didn’t even notice it when I was taking the pics. Sorry bro.
I didn’t notice until I took the ramps off. I don’t see how a ball could even get in there. So luckily no one should ever see these holes.

Only had a pin with one or two, still shuddered at the thought.
Everything turned out all right and its my favorite SS Williams pin.

Fun machine
Quoted from Jamesays:Fun machine
Oddly yes; went out and purchased a Firepower and Space Shuttle and for some unfathomable reason I love the Blackout better then the other two. I never get bored playing it and love the sounds it makes. Getting Blackout is maddening to pull off and I'll keep hitting the start button till I pull it off most of the time.

Now I don’t feel so bad!!! Those prices were “crazy” but those “projects” are more like parts heaps, if you’re brave!

That’s a first being used as a fish tank stand
Wow
[quoted image][quoted image]
Reminds me when I bought my Royal Flush off facebook, the seller told me someone messaged him about buying it with the intent to convert it to a fish tank. The seller declined and was happy to sell it to me when I told him I was a collector looking for that game. It was in great condition, he bought it when he was 16 with the money he earned from his paper route and it obviously meant a lot to him but he didn't have the space for it anymore.

I mean the paint job isn’t Terrible
For 1200 it is
What was the story or goal here.
Looks like they turned it into their own personal canvas. Next time just go to the art store.
If your gonna pay that much at least do it original !!!
Quoted from Knxwledge:This abomonation got donated to us today. Rich old guy downsizing needed it gone. Even the leg levelers were painted LOL. The paint job cost him $1200. Really sucks because the playfield and plastics are pretty nice. Gonna have to find the right buyer!
[quoted image][quoted image]
At first I thought, “why would anyone change the original”, but it looked ok so who are we to say. But When I zoom in on the painted cabinet, it actually looks pretty poorly done! So it’s a very odd piece of art done in a pretty poor way.
Quoted from rollinover:What was the story or goal here.
The art kinda matched some paintings and things he had in his garage. Also he seemed very well off so he probably wipes his ass with $1200

Yeah it's got visible brushstrokes all over it, feels uneven, etc. It's weird because whatever white they used for the back and head frame feels pretty smooth. If the rest of the game was nice and smooth it wouldnt be too bad.
Quoted from Knxwledge:Reminds me of the Star Wars chair which has a bit of a reputation over on KLOV
