That and they LOVE manuals and schematics.

And they like to chew on wire.

Yup. Mouse nest. I picked this up for a friend earlier this year.

Most of my games have been stored in a place for about 9 years that had mice!! I got a sonic deterant plus put traps down, was killing about 1 to 2 per week for about a month or so, then the number died down, I guess the sonic deterant was stopping new visitors!! These pics are making me very nervous as to what I might find when I start pulling them out to bring them to their new home!!

I've also had had luck with the sonic deterrents. I use them a lot in my barn/recording studio and I've never had any issues since (and also haven't had any interference with any of the recording gear as well). Great help.

Quoted from Mitoska:

I bought to many plants for the garden this year so I made a planter box next to the garage for some extra vine tomatoes[quoted image]

The only thing that I could see wrong would be the possible toxic materials from the inside? Lead from the battery or the paint?

From experience - those sonic devices will cause your cats to go deaf. They can still hear it.

The ones I got are supposed to be pet friendly... not that there are any cats by the store or even in my home anyway... I think if a cat did hear it, it would probably freak out and then you'd know to stop using it before you caused it to go deaf... at a guess...

If they had a cat, the mice might move along anyway.

That looks pretty cool, big donked out wheels too!

#2711 31 days ago

I never heard that term before. Interesting.

Google to the rescue:

Why is it called a Donk?

"Because of the exaggerated look gained from installing a lifted suspension and enormous wheels, donks are also known as "hi-risers" or "sky-scrapers." ... They were given this name because the "Impala" logo was referred to as a "donkey" by owners, or "donk" for short."

"A true “donk” car refers specifically to 1971-1976 full-size Chevrolet cars. The term “donk” actually comes from the Chevy Impala. ... To many, this jumping creature resembled a donkey, so when this particular Chevy model started gaining traction in the custom-car industry, people started referring to them as “donks.”

Given the way that the glass shattered, I guess it was not tempered glass. Yikes.

Also, the official nickname for the football team in Denver.

I got a free playfield protector with my flight 2000:

This is how it was stored and also advertised!

They took off the glass and legs to move them, I couldn't find them amongst the junk. Both are being restored.

My previously intact Torpedo Alley mountains after removing them from the molds I made. They died for a good cause.

That is really really sad...
but it’s great someone will be making new mountains and hopefully they’ll be WAY stronger. Those things are practically made of papier-mâché.

I'm just curious. Did you use any sort of mold release when doing it? Never done molding myself so not sure if that would also damage the plastic (assuming you didn't use it).

Original Pam cooking spray works wonders as a mold release for all types of mediums

Someone posted this in the projects for sale thread... take a peak inside the game... looks like the beginnings of the "blob" are forming inside the coin door. Egads!

Backglass is amazing considering the state of the rest of it!! Backglass plus parts if you have that era game have to be worth $300 I'd say...

Yes, I used legit industrial mold release. The mountains are intricate and thin, and when making a deep cavity mold like this, they tend to get stuck easier. At the bottom of the mold, where plastic stretches the worst, the walls are down to .010"-.015" thick. The good news is, the molds turned out well, and I am getting good parts off of them.

A nice barb wire
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I bought this piece of s#!t
The electronics are even worse, the 2 main fuses where cut out and the wires twisted, 8 of the 9 fuses at the Transformer are bypasses with wires and at least 10 fuses under the playfield got the same treatment. Glad i tested the 5v psu as it was 6.3v, display is missing several vertical lines. 1 coil went up in flames (and went Mia) probably due to the bypasses fuses. All in all a fun project

Broke my forearm last weekend and can’t play pinball for 4-6 weeks. Now THAT’S horror.

Got this yesterday, outside of the ramp flaps and the battlefield armature not rusty. The cab is falling apart, it could be fixed but might just find an empty wpc cab to redo.

Did come with everything, few things not in the pictures are still in my truck.
