Quoted from Shredso:You released the magic smoke!
I have used this with great success. ///Rich
PS-This is my last bottle. Please don't ask for even a little bit as it's hard to pour and I am not sure where to get any any more.
Lucas Replacement Smoke (resized).jpgQuoted from thierryv:Well, I was a bit fooling you guys.
Those previous pictures were taken at home .
I bought this Fathom last year, , disassembled the whole game and already begun the restoration with a parted out X and O's / Eight ball head .[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I would be interested in knowing why you cut off the back side of the 8-ball head. Did you just go back together with a new piece of plywood in the backside?

Bally changed the depth of the head between 8-Ball and Fathom. 8-Balls head is about an inch deeper which won't play well with Fathoms head stencils.

Correct !
Quoted from thierryv:Correct !
Were you by any chance involved in the emulation scene many years ago?

Do you mean the Fathom restoration with the small shark between cabinet and head? indeed, it was me.

Nevermind, I confused you with someone else. BTW that was a cool shark mod in the neck grille

Putting the FIRE in Firepower!

I wish I had kept pics of it; I had the cabinet (well, the head and backglass) that matched that playfield. Amazingly, the playfield and plastics were fine, and the lower cabinet was pretty good with only a couple small burnt spots where something on fire had touched it. The lower cabinet went on to save another game, the playfield got stripped of parts and sold, and the boards were junk..

That’s exactly why it’s a good idea to have a extinguisher nearby

For a moment there, I thought you got into my stash. Then I realized that yours had a fire and mine is just black mold.

Fire would get rid of your problem...
Someone sure got tired of backbox breakins
In the 70s that was a real problem at our local arcade. Some morons found out that they could pry the backbox door slightly open, and then by poking a bicycle spoke inside, add credits by pushing the credit reel.
We installed alarms triggered by a micro switch when backbox door was out of place.

It's from a Gottlieb Wedge head . The camera angle makes it look square ,
It's priced at $100 aussie dollars

Black Mold.....Black Mold 2000.....and the latest version, Black Mold: Spores of Rage.
Quoted from snowy_owl:Kinda cool, but why? I hate to think what was done to make this...

If you look closely, those pieces look mint. I highly doubt some guy cut up a perfectly good, mint AFM cabinet.
Then again, maybe he did! We should hang the bastard!!
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:If you look closely, those pieces look mint. I highly doubt some guy cut up a perfectly good, mint AFM cabinet.
That's what I had hoped, and it's also what I suspected...I mean, it looks cool! But even so, it jarred me a little. Some people are idiots. You never know...
P.S. I know I took the picture from your post on the "what's up with your avatar?" thread. My apologies.

Nah. I've got maybe $500 into it. Plywood, MDF, artwork, coin door and misc parts. Even has an on/off switch that turns on lights in the door and a speaker that works too.
Worst part was making it all fit in 2X2 or 2X4 spaces. It all had to be custom cut to fit.

It took me WAY too long to figure out what was going on in this series of posts.
Quoted from Neal_W:That Bobby Orr Power Play looks like Snow Miser and Heat Miser. "I'm Mr. One Hundred and one."

Lol Xmas edition that's hilarious
Quoted from Ballypalooza:[quoted image]
That game is in the wrong thread, needs to be posted in the No Rainbow Puke Club lol
I honestly think it probably looks better as snow miser edition then a cracked up spiderweb backglass lol.
