Gross.
Not only is that lighted button an atrocity on a Nintendo cab, but they could have at least cleaned off all the smegma.

Really? There was a guy in Chicago on the west side that his whole attic floor was Bally extra playfields or 2nds. I was able to save some that were not nailed down.
Yikes

Playfields go for about $50 to $100 a square foot these days. That would be some expensive flooring. I suppose he came across them a bit cheaper back in the day.
Quoted from koen12344:Also looks like someone did a creative wiring job
I don't think it is a wiring hack job, someone or something just tore apart the wiring harness. Pretty nasty rust too - look at the lamp sockets and plunger for the drop target banks.

Speaking of creative wiring jobs...

I remember seeing that being offered on Marktplaats. Wondered where it ended up.

Found one a little worse off. More playfield wear I'd say.

Quoted from Electronmagic:Sad Blackout. This had to be more than just mice. The wood cross braces are gnawed away. Badger? Raccoon? Tasmanian Devil?
At least it didn't get into the head.

Are you rebuilding it or using it for parts? If you’re stripping parts off I’d be interested in one of the yellow plastic covers on the coin door. Preferably one without teeth marks.

Boy, I don't know. I'd love to save it, but it would need a complete wiring harness... and a hard bottom. The bottom is sagging from wolverine urine. I couldn't even keep it in my garage it smelled so bad. Had to move it to the shed.

The floor is easy to replace. You would need access to a table saw or a friend with a table saw. You only would have about 10 minutes of saw work. Don't let the floor stop you. If there is no moisture damage to the cab, eventually someone will come around looking for a use cab.
That said, you are talking about a pin that 7,050 were produced. Pinside estimates it value between $1200-$1400. Pinside's price could be incorrect. You would want to keep prices in mind.
Shawn at Third Coast Pinball might be able to build you a wire harness, but since it would only be one harness, it would probably be expensive.
My opinion is that one is a parts machine.
I've seen some bad stuff in this thread but that has to be in the top ten.
What happened to "don't shit where you sleep"?
At first glance it looked like paint loss on the side of the head. Now I see that it is not. Paint loss would have been better.
Missed opportunity to use one of those free harbor freight tarps. Sad, Just sad.
Couldn’t see it through the dirt!
Quoted from brettv8:Last Action Hero. The guy that owns this thinks he'll get a fortune for it, his missus looking at eBay prices. Well, that was 5 years ago, now it is buried further behind mountains of crap in storage. Literally.

Reminded me to check on the guy locally with the SFII that comes preloaded with a 5 pound rat nest and tons of shit and piss.
Totally rusted out and not working, bargain deal of $3000!!!

Gottlieb "Fashion Show" - 1962 - didn't know it but curiosity got the best of me while eating breakfast, so I looked it up.

The guy even says "take it apart..." Ok, TAKE IT APART.
Just another show pandering to banal destruction. I'll pass.

NO It is,
Brain dead bucket baby Neanderthals who someone didn't grease the bucket enough when those two were born and they obviously escaped.
What the f*#k does someone learn from doing that to something in good condition other than "me stupid" "me cut with chainsaw watch fall apart." UGG.
fu&#*ng seriously.

I watched that episode when it first broadcast, cringeworthy for sure.

Gosh, I feel bad for saying that. That wasn’t very Christian of me. Maybe there are other ways to understand things that don’t involve cutting them in two.

Why couldn't they just slice a Thunderbirds or Sizzle instead?
