So, there are a few great days dedicated to celebrate things that are lesser loved than they used to be or deserve... Two of the main ones I recognize being Record Store Day and Comic Book Day. Both involve a lot of great promotions for one day nation-wide, and make a TON of buzz for the respective wonderful things involved.
And maybe I'm completely mistaken and oblivious here (as I am still fairly new to this amazing hobby) but why isn't there a day dedicated to pinball? Just a day where surviving arcades and places with pins open their doors for free and all the manufacturers throw in small free items for giveaway bags to turn kids onto the game and re-spark the love inside former players.
It wouldn't be completely crazy hard to organize I wouldn't imagine, and it would be absolutely great for the world of pinball.
Thoughts?
P.S. - *Pardon this post if this has been discussed before, but I tried the search and couldn't find anything*
