Kevin and Carole are pinball heroes for sure. Lyons Classic Pinball was the first place I'd walked into in 20 years that had more than 4 pins. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, especially after enjoying dinner and a beer at Oskar Blues. I started looking forward to business trips there. Sadly, I don't work with that customer anymore, so I haven't been in a long time.
I really enjoy your reviews, C2S, especially of the old solid state games. If more people would write reviews like yours and stop fretting over the ranking numbers, Pinside would be better for it.
Here in GA, I have so many pinball heroes, I know I can't list them all. I'll just say that I'm grateful for the long-lived GAPAS mailer started by Al Warner, the PinSwap that we had before Southern Fried Gameroom Expo took off, and for all my friends who run tournaments and SFGE, and those who host get-togethers and league nights. They're all great people.
