I don't want to start "a thing", but for those downvoting, I just want to point out SA is notorious for it's bigotry towards LGBTQ people. Sometimes SA is there and is better than nothing, but I'm just saying don't shrug off any Salvation Army critique just because they're a well-branded charity. Lots of classic institutions have a lot of growing up to do, SA included.
