Covid made for a tough 2020 (and continuing in 2021) for a lot of us... You've got to feel for someone who was actively executing big plans for the future when this whammy showed up. Even though Las Vegas is very low on my "go back there" list, it would be a shame to see this vision die and something like a Rite Aid or Marshalls moving in to the space. Plus I know PHOF has used my products in the past and I'm glad to put what I could into the effort.

    Quoted from Robo1:

Please consider this: The profit from this museum has always gone to charity, a small donation from you today will potentially create 1,000's of dollars of charitable funds over the next decades. You are not only investing in your hobby but also the well being of your country and people who are greatly in need. The direct link to the page to donate is on the second post at the beginning of this feed.

Great positive, forward-looking statement @robo1. The benefactor(s) of PHOF's big bet help those in need.

Is gofundme an "all or nothing" listing like Kickstarter? Or does PHOF pay out what is donated even if goal isn't reached?

    Quoted from Goyomex:

Man, they certainly do a good job of hiding the fact you can change that to zero. Not a big fan of "tipping" GoFundMe - rather have that extra 7% I sent go to PHOF.

Indeed - I tried to change it when I donated but I sure couldn't find any way past the 7% minimum. I sure hope the effort doesn't come up 7% short...

    Quoted from greenhornet:

artist rendering of the new PHOF signage

Thanks for posting that pic - the billboard darned near becomes invisible in comparison to the PHOF's fully decked out street scene. (but lets not share that viewpoint with the signatory on the $1700 check)

    Quoted from timarnold:

We have NO say on what is advertised on it.

If you rented it you could say what goes on it. But I doubt it could draw in even 1 customer that wouldn't have already seen your street scene!
