Donation made! Best of luck with the campaign. I'll be in Vegas in a month so plan to contribute directly via coin drop as well.

    Quoted from flynnibus:

Would love to hear what people think they need to pay to get that kind of person and staff to do this as a full time gig, be world class, get them to vegas… oh and be paid well enough to actually want the job.
Where are these mercenaries and why aren’t they already doing this job at other spots?

I think about that a lot. You'd need people with a bunch of different skill sets and knowledge in different eras. Board work, EM, solid state, restoration, etc. That said, I'd think you could get a good team of five individuals covering all eras for half a million. Use them to train the team of volunteers. Whether that would be enough to make a dent in the backlog is a good question. Another question is would the newly working games earn enough to make the investment in technicians make financial sense.

Seems like a lot of money, but I'd think the investment would be worth it. Brian Kelly, Christopher Hutchins, Chris Hibler... Tim needs you.

I have a buddy here in Houston who has helped countless members in the community with their games for years. I'd love nothing more than to hit the lottery and pay him a large salary to keep doing the same on a full-time basis.
