Did or does anybody get a pinball for Christmas? I don’t mean you bought yourself a pin or your significant other bough one with you. I mean an actual surprise, you didn’t know it or seen it coming. You literally got a surprise pin for Christmas. If so let see some pic!

    I freaking wish

Yeah, the ultimate pinball surprise. It would be hard to pull off with the expense, size and logistics.

I got a new pen from the kids. For writing/adventures in outer space.

Even though I found out a bit before Christmas it was a surprise until then. She did make me wait until today to unbox it.

A brother retired this year. He sends generous Christmas checks to his siblings. I'm always surprised to get a check, and thought it would pay for one of the two pins I have on order if I got one. I'm still kinda shocked as it was the same of the past 3 years when it doubled. Enough to pay for both pins.

I got these today and love them. Mug from wife and blueprints from my daughter that she framed up for the game room.

Retired. Sold the house with a 1500 sq foot basement gameroom in Oct. Moved to a 720 sq ft condo on the water. Just got our offer accepted yesterday- because it has a basement. Best Christmas present ever! Games move in from storage on March 18th. Not a pinball, but my babies will be out of storage and playable.

I was surprised by my brother with a Beatles pinball machine for Christmas. He showed up with it wrapped, and I had no idea what was going on. I am still in shock honestly. Totally blown away. Best bro in the universe.

Best I could do. I was able to surprise my kids 3 kids (all boys --- 9/8/6) and they were pretty happy. The oldest really enjoys them and will be better than I am in no time.

Grandson got this and we had to put it all together. Came in a kit that had all the wood, plastic pieces, and screws.

I had it all planned to surprise my son with AIQ Pro. Had my old TMNT box emptied out in a basement corner and was going to hide AIQ inside it for a week. Then the tik tok school violence threat happened as AIQ got delivered. My son was evacuated and I took him home right as it was delivered. Oh well. He’s safe and we got to play it for an extra week.

Wife said she got it on Etsy. It's 3d printed and pretty detailed. I may have to get my whole collection miniaturized

After a wonderful Christmas morning with my daughter (22), son (24), and wife, we joined our next door neighbors around their fire pit for a Christmas toast. Shortly after our toast, my neighbor hands me a small wrapped gift "from Santa but delivered to the wrong address." I'm thrilled to unwrap a flipper key ring with my initials on it. Oddly, there were keys on the ring but I assumed they were just for show. Suddenly, the doors to our neighbors' huge garage open up and here's when things get fuzzy...

The first thing I see is a beautiful red Vespa scooter (which I know my neighbors would never sell and I already own a Genuine Buddy scooter). Then, I look to my right -- staring back at me is my friend's (@MGMPIN) 1995 Attack from Mars that I've always wanted when he was ready to part with it. My key ring dropped to the ground as an invisible-force-of-unbelief pushed me back out of the garage. At that moment, the smoke from the fire pit must have hit me as my eyes began to water.

AFM has always been my favorite pin. I would drag my wife to the arcade back in 1995 (she was my fiancé back then) just to blow up some saucers. Somehow, my family and friends completely surprised me. Here's a picture (after I was able to dry those tears).

    Congratulations, Mark!

I was doing a scroll through this thread and immediately stopped and thought..."Hey...I know that guy"!

Amazing and generous gift. So happy for you!

I usually get something pinball related, but my ex wife did surprise me with a MMR LE when they were in the pre order phase. It took 2 years to get the game but it still was one, if not the best present I will ever get for xmas. Its the only game I will never sell, even though it gets little play anymore.

I had to sell my HEP restored MM a little while back to pay a couple medical bills down. Now that I’m back on my feet again my wife surprised me with this for Christmas, not quite a HEP but hey it’s the thought that counts!

You fellas with the pinball gifts are some loved and lucky guys! That’s what pinball is to me, gathering of friends and loved ones. Obviously the people involved in getting you these surprise pins see that, share the same view and appreciate you immensely. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!!!
