I think PinballStar has been making a lot of their own flyers.

Quoted from pinballslave:Another surprise difference, this time on both sides...
Interesting. Who would have thought they would make more than one Thunderbirds flyer? Lol....
A couple of double sided trade stimulator and slot machine flyers that came my way. These are really old, circa 1939/1940. Love to trade these for some pin flyers if anyone has interest. I also included a snap of the price list from that era for some fun reading.....
Quoted from dmarston:I think PinballStar has been making a lot of their own flyers.
Strange why they would use exactly the same image on the rear, but shrink it down to about 60% of its original size and fill the space with a massive grey boarder!! Can't imagine the thinking behind that!!
Quoted from SergioJ:Interesting. Who would have thought they would make more than one Thunderbirds flyer? Lol....
True! I have 4 different versions of the Thunderbirds flyer now, below are the other 2 (both 1 sided).
Here’s a weird one, not the usual run of the mill flyer. What’s also weird is that as far as I can tell, the back and front are the same!
Quoted from NYP:Here’s a weird one, not the usual run of the mill flyer.
Stern promoting 'industry standard' pinballs for home use... now that's a good idea!!
Anybody interested in making some trades to be consummated at Allentown? I’ll be there Friday, PM me with what you’re looking for, my doubles are strong in the 70’s to about 2000 although I do have some doubles from the 60’s as well. Also have books if anybody is into those as well.....
Major update on the flyer database. Added 40 new flyers starting with Led Zeppelin. And I came across some Stern flyers in Chinese which are pretty different. Here's a direct link if you want to check it out: https://nypinball.com/new-flyers/

Nebula by Broz, now that's an obscure one!!
Quoted from pinballslave:Nebula by Broz, now that's an obscure one!!
Right? I especially liked: "It is a a unique and stimulating blend of art and technology". The detail that they put into the cabinet art, Zombie Yeti better watch his back!

Any good trades? If you found anything at the show I might need, LMK
Mike Minchew will be giving his talk about flyers on the Friday of Pintastic New England (November 19th).
https://pintasticnewengland.com/guests/
He just told me he is preparing "prize packs" of vintage flyers to be given away during his seminar. Maybe not "given away" exactly, as you have to earn a pack by answering a trivia question. Limit of one prize per person!

Is this being recorded? Won't be attending but would love to hear it.
We intend to record the seminar, but you must be present in order to win a prize pack.

Hey, sorry didn’t notice this until recently. I ended up up not going to Allentown. I did hit York, and Mayfair was there with their usual assortment but other than that, not much available.
That link for the seminar will be put on the Pintastic YouTube channel eventually. Other seminars with more immediate news value go up first. When the flyers seminar is posted, I'll announce it here.

X-Men LE is kind of hard to find, If you can't find a trade, I think your best bet is to buy this one: ebay.com link: itm
Here's a Stranger things premium: ebay.com link: itm
Is Stern still printing flyers? I haven't seen one for Godzilla. I have the pdf, but haven't seen a printed one yet.
You might be right, I don't even see any on eBay. JJP stopped printing them. How sad that would be, and penny wise pound foolish. Maybe a sign of the times, the digital age. Wonder what affect this will have on the hobby.
If "they" stop printing them, off the record, there would be a small small market for someone else to print the Flyers and make them available.
Just watched it, I think Mike did a good job covering the subject, and Dave did a good job too, thanks for posting!

Ok the top 100 has changed! Looks like sexy girl is on top now with big dick underneath! Sexy girl has overtaken the iron maiden comic for the #1 spot which has been on top for a loooong time!
Quoted from NYP:Sexy girl has overtaken the iron maiden comic for the #1 spot which has been on top for a loooong time!
I didn't know there was an Iron Maiden comic book!
Quoted from pinballslave:I didn't know there was an Iron Maiden comic book!
Yah PITA to scan that one! Is there a point to the comic? Not sure what it means ....
Quoted from NYP:Not sure what it means ....
It seems to be about a man who's in hell and battles the devil which releases the demons to invade earth followed by another guy (the alchemist) who wants to help defeat the devil, known also as the 'unmaker'... maybe it's a metaphor for the Ukranian war... the unmaker is Putin, Eddie is Zelenski, the demons are the Russian troops, Mariupol is hell and the alchemist is Biden...
Which would you keep? This flyer was made with blotting paper on the back, one has been used as intended, and has loads of original 1930's ink on it, the other hasn't, but has holes punched in it... I'll be trading one of them, and I'm 50/50 on which I'd prefer to hang onto...
Quoted from poppapin:The one with the holes punched looks cleaner.
It definitely is, no doubt! I'm leaning towards trading that one and keeping the inky dirty one though... usually such excessive ink stains would make me prefer to keep the clean one, but since it was actually designed for the back to be blotting paper, the ink seems to make it more complete
By the way, neither the game nor the manufacturer are on the IPDB...
Those are always tough decisions. Even though the one with holes is cleaner, holes are like the worst. But the other is stamped, written on and worn, flip a coin
I’d keep the one with the holes. They’re in a non-graphics area, so it’s not like anything is really missing and it’s a cleaner copy. But yeah, either one is a nice one to have, just comes down to personal preference....
I recently released a game (#Drained) for the Multimorphic P3 pinball platform, and ensured that I made physical promotional fliers as part of the game's release. New purchases receive a flier, and the flier is available digitally on the game's website, drainedpinball.com, as well as on Pinside in the 'Machines' section.
I have a stock of them, and will also bring them to shows I attend/exhibit at in the future. If you're interested in one, PM me.
First, thank you for all the nice comments about my flyers seminar at Pintastic 2021. dmarston - really appreciate the offer to have me there. Just putting together all the slides was a great experience.
NOW, to flyers collecting. I have acquired the collections of 2 big flyers collectors (that were unfortunately exiting the hobby) over the past 18 months. I've pulled out what I needed in my collection and the rest are now inventoried in my For Sale/Trade list. That Excel list is now about 7k flyers (only good stuff no junk). I really don't want to die with all these spare flyers.
I'll trade or sell - at a big discount for Pinsiders. Just send me a direct email to get the list. Pinside wont allow attaching Excel files in PM.
Of course, my main interest is getting flyers that I don't have (buy or trade). I know pulling from your personal collection is hard - but I will make it more than worth it.
Here are some very cool flyers that I acquired in those deals, Skyway doesn't exist according to IPDB. The Riverboat is a prototype. Humpty Dumpty is the first one that I've ever seen...
Does anyone know Oscar Schneider? Jay Stafford at IPDB is trying to track him down about a game listing/flyer for Genco "National".
Quoted from FlyerCollector:Humpty Dumpty is the first one that I've ever seen...
Ron will be very jealous at that one... so am I!
Quoted from FlyerCollector:Skyway doesn't exist according to IPDB.
This one I have also doesn't exist according to the IPDB... well, maybe it does now after I sent Jay this pic... manufacturer unknown... (pretty sure K. & S. Sales are the distributor).
I would like to hang some flyers on my wall, of course not ruining them. Does anyone have a suggestion for what kind of sleeve or case I could use to do this? Thank you

Personally I'd use a simple picture frame... something like this... they're sometimes known as frameless picture frames...
I'd use a black background myself...
