After reading all of the posts,it seems that EXPO didn't perform up to it's former standards
as in prior years. This was my 1st expo @ Westin and let me say that there were many issues
(that I witnessed) that were not acceptable like; Rude door staff,Being OVERCHARGED
@ Registration, very limited # games in free play area, also limited play on Fri b/c of pinbrawl,
No 10am shuttle to O'Hare as was listed online, persons feeling ripped off after learning they
couldn't enter until 6p (Fri) No food/bev available outside the hall for late nite playing.
Back in the mid 90's the show had a much better vibe as the venders used to offer
a much broader parts selection and the free play area had MANY more games!!!
This longest running pinball event really needs to refocus it's core values to re-establish
itself as the "best'' pin event that was once true.
I really don't think I'll be coming back as there are many great pin shows now in Dallas,A-Town,
Seattle,Denver that treats it's patrons/vendors with respect w/no attitudes,drama!
Just my 2 cents!!!!!!
