Penrith is enduring heatwave summer conditions in spring & likely to continue over the weekend. Look forward to meeting you rotordave.

180 pinballs in one room. Maybe more with the exhibitors ones.

Lots of Wood Rails from Michael Shaloubs collection.

Dan supplied most of the SS machines and Leigh most of the DMD machines.

A massive effort from these 3 dudes to make this happen.

Awesome weekend of pinball in Penrith, Sydney.

Very busy day today. Lots of public through the gates. The organisers will be happy about that!

The Ifpa competiton ran over two days. There were about 120 competitors.

All day Saturday was PAPA style qualifying. Sunday was the top 32 qualifiers playing off.

At the end of the day, some guy RotorDave and Peter Watt played off for the championship.

Best of 5 ... All the games were tight as a gnats ass. Eventually, Peter beat the rapidly fading RotorDave 3-1.

But RotorDave was brave and didn't cry toooo much.

Here's the top 3 with their trophies. RD (2nd) Peter (1st) and Naiomi (3rd).

Met Peter Watt and his daughter on the way in to the Expo yesterday and had a great chat with him. He is a delightful chap and I could not think of a more deserving champion.

Tried to catch up with you yesterday rd but you were tied up in the secured tournament area. Have a safe trip home-Wayne

    #18 4 years ago

Congratulations all. Those comp machines were setup super tough.

Was a great event and thanks to all the organisers for the huge effort. Fingers crossed for Expo 2015.

You're right there. No posts in TZ or Addams ... Anything down either side was Insta-drain.

Tough tough tough. I had the high score of 98m on addams for the whole qualifying ... Up until the last half hour (3am Sunday morning!!) when Edy got 120m.

In the finals Peter got 59m and I got 55m on Addams. I shoulda had it but didn't hit my jackpot when it was lit. Shambles.

Thanks bud. Hope you had fun. Lots of rare pins to play, that's for sure.

No posts combined with a ridiculously tight tilt on TZ.....That tilt would go off just from the ball going into the pops.

Made the mistake of choosing IM, CV and that TZ for my DMD's. Shoulda gone with Popeye instead of CV.

Not that it would have made any difference.....

Congrats on such a great event. I may consider coming over next year (hoping this will be an annual event.)

It was a huge undertaking by 3 guys ... It may not happen again. Time will tell.

Another event you might want to look at is Pincade in NZ. Ad Jonker is coming down this March.

Dunno how many there were, but there sure were a lot!

The kiwis went back over last night and helped pack em up last night. I did all the woodrails. We bailed about 1030-11pm.
