What I could not believe is they actually passed down a cabinet bottom from a rafter to the floor with just two guys?!?
Just how much is NOT inside a EK professional home version?

Agreed. I was waiting for one, or both, of them to get injured. But, as we all know, Pickers is staged. I'm willing to bet the producers gutted the cab.

No coin door, no cash box, no anti cheat corner plates by leg bolts. Playfield bottom arch is plastic. Cabinet is not as tall/deep so less wood. Boxed weight is 160# so no head & no box means main cabinet weighs maybe 125#.

Do you honestly think either of those guys - Frank is out of shape as hell and I don't know who the other guy is but he's not exactly the epitome of youth or fitness - can lift 125lbs easily? Let alone weight shaped as awkwardly as a pin cab? Not a chance. Frank ain't deadlifting that thing even if the rafter was helping distribute the weight.

that's mike wolfe's brother.. Mike is pretty strong for his age, his brother is not.
Quoted from yancy:Ha! I'm kinda glad they didn't find it; that game is probably better used as a coffee table.
I was a kid when those were selling in Sears. I would've LOVED to have one over any of the other choices at the time.
Quoted from Wmsfan:84 days.....
Where is the spreadsheet for 'wanted to by and for sale' normally found?
I was wondering that myself. May have room for a game.
Quoted from tmntrule999:Is the plan as of now for this convention to still run this year?
Apparently. Unless they are waiting on the city or state to close events so they aren't out a lot of money on their hotel contract if they cancel it.
LTG : )
Quoted from LTG:Unless they are waiting on the city or state to close events so they aren't out a lot of money on their hotel contract if they cancel it.
Yeah, there has to be some kind of cutoff point at which they're allowed to cancel without penalty. Hotel can't just wait 'til the day of the show and say "phase 5 not reached, you're off the hook, everybody go home."
There is zero chance of any show this year. If there is, it will be a huge money loss for anyone involved.

Wouldn't say zero chance of a show but I would agree any show at Best would be a break even or loss. Shows like this are dependent on attendee participation bringing games. Will be a Tough pull to keep that room half full this year.
I know im late to the party, but I've been at every Expo since 2014. It's like a family reunion for me. This will be my first one missed, and that makes me really sad.
In lieu of a show, I would gladly throw out some bones to see some streaming seminars, specifically on repair stuff.

And likely no non US people / maybe even Chicago still has the usa state limits in place as well.
Can a show have an out / part if the IFPA does not reopen this year? OR they be forced to take some kind of hit if they don't have the tournament?
Stern / bus co says no the tour?
Hotel should not be that much of an ass but it's best to work stuff out in an place that is not the court room.
Big things to look for MLB is still having games and the NHL was able to play if they drop out due to this I think an big show like this may be an NO go.
I ain't worried. I still have the Ambulance.... I hope to not need to use it as it was originally intended.
Chances of Expo are approximately zero. Unless there is a vaccine or treatment widely available prior to October, which is unreasonably optimistic considering the show is about 3 months out. An a second wave is expected to start just around the time of Expo.
Expo is going to have to go on hiatus for at least a year like all of the other shows. Let's just hope it's a year.
I don't see how expo is going to happen either (even though it's 3 months away). Everything I read says possibly an emergency cure in September (IE if you have really bad symptoms the cure is less risky than doing nothing). To get enough testing where they can hand it out to anyone isn't going to be at least until next January.
Illinois isn't doing bad (about 600-800 cases each day, compared to say florida that has 10k cases per day).. But even if we somehow managed to get that number down to double digits we are talking about effectively an international show. Lot of people flying in from other states and countries. That's a lot of risk. What would a show even be like with pins separated every 6 feet, speaker conference rooms that have limited capacity. You also have to wonder with limited capacity does the show even break even?
