Hey guys a new pinball exhibit is opening up at the Rock hall July 11th. Superelectric pinball parlor has been working in conjunction with the rock hall and even a touch with Spooky for the last year to bring an interactive playable exhibit featuring rock and rolls best pins! There's roughly 18-20 pins across all eras. The real treats are the first Alice Cooper in the wild and a fully restored Gottleib Punk. I took a couple of photos of the games in the shop before they left. They are still setting it up currently but I'll take some photos on the 11th.

.... and Iron Maiden. Dolly Parton and AC/DC machines are not shown either but are mentioned on website. Nice idea having these pins together at R&RHOF museum.

Dolly and Stern Kiss are both in the museum Dolly's actual dress is in the exibit, Alice's electric chair etc. They didn't go with the Stern Rolling Stones or Maiden but are likely to get them in the future if the exibit is successful. A couple of pics from Davideokills

Heres how you grow pinball interest!

Radical! It's fun to see pins in settings like this.

Amazing how some new games and others just a few years old are now relics enough to be considered "hall of fame" material.

No Rock or Rock Encore

Interesting. Very interesting!

Rock or rock encore is in the exibit (can't remember which he got). Some stuff already is there and I didn't have a shot of in the studio.

Might be more about the artist being in the hall of fame. Maiden is currently not in the HoF which is probably why they didn't get it quite yet but I see them and the pin making their way.

The hall had almost 600,000 visitors last year..... There is going to be a crapload of plays on these bad boys. Dave clearcoated the fields of all the pre-90's pins to help combat wear

Hopefully some stories and interviews about the r&rhof pinball exhibit will be happening soon. Maybe start a gofundme to place maiden in the show before its run is over.

Considering Maiden falls between MET and AC/DC in the top 10 on Pinside tells me it is a miss not including it in the music pinball exhibit. When you realize Maiden is only been available recently, is called one of Stern's best pins already and it is considered to showcase the latest LCD direction where Stern is going; it's absense is sort of a big deal imo. Otherwise the layout of pinball machines looks nice and inviting. A lot of work to organize.

Heck that's your story right there. Since 2012, Stern has produced three music themed machines which are top 10 games of all time today.

Interesting for sure how they still make new pinball games themed after antique, has been bands.
Interesting. Very interesting!

I love the ones on the Indian casino circuit. Alice Cooper is at Pechanga in Temecula in a month.

My realtor sent me photos of pinball machines at the HOF last week, but said you couldn’t play them. Then I heard this advertised on XM and it made sense. Can’t wait! Very cool. Thanks for sharing pictures!

Took a bunch of pics of the opening today! I know they're dark and my camera is great but I hope you guys enjoy.

I figured those guys at Super Electric were doing a rock themed thing, with all the music pins they've been looking for. Just didn't realize it'd be at the hall. Well, funsies for them. Very glad I don't have to keep those up and running.

Just got back from the display.
Had a lot of fun. Alll games were set to free play. Punk was my favorite. What a great game.

Home run for everyone! Love the Rock Hall, got a reason for my fifth visit. Cleveland Rocks!

My score shows only Ted Nugent and Iron Madian as non-members and IMO should NOT be included till they are IN.

How fortuitous! My dad and I plan on stopping here during a road trip, I really had no desire to go until I heard this news.

#22 5 years ago

We checked the audits yesterday to get an idea of the amount of plays. From Wednesday - end of Sunday 1000-1200 plays per machine. 17000 plays in the exibit...... This was just a regular summer attendance weekend. So far only about $50 in parts

The games were playing well and looked great (except Alice Cooper, which was out of order) - well done. It's the first time I've had opportunity to play Tommy, GNR, and Punk.
